Guantánamo.- En el programa de MSNBC el  24 de Febrero de 1957 el periodista Chris Herbert Matthews presenta una entrevista al en la Sierra Maestra, en el oriente de Cuba, al comandante Fidel Castro Ruz, jefe del Ejército Rebelde. El dirigente barbudo en plena Sierra Maestra contestó a las preguntas de Matthews explicando su programa de gobierno a la caída de la dictadura de Batista.
Preguntado si su gobierno sería comunista Fidel responde "¿Cómo voy a ser yo comunista..?

Senior Homeland Security Advisor: "America is an Islamic Country"  Mohamed Elibianry Homeland Security Advisor. 

A senior advisor to the Department of Homeland Security, Mohamed Elibiary, says that America is “an Islamic country” and continues to argue that the Muslim Brotherhood is comparable to Christian evangelicals.
Elibiary is a member of the Homeland Security Advisory Council and was promoted in September. He also served on the Department of Homeland Security’s Countering Violent Extremism Working Group and the Faith-based Security and Communications Advisory Committee.
He is also a long-time Texas Republican Party official and was a delegate for Senator John McCain in 2008.
On October 31, Elibiary tweeted that he believes the U.S. “is an Islamic country.” You can see the screenshot below: 
The tweet was part of a conversation about whether Islam and the U.S. are compatible. Elibiary argued that America has an “Islamically compliant constitution.”
He also reiterated his view that the Muslim Brotherhood is comparable to Christian evangelicals and that not all Islamists should be lumped in with jihadists and terrorists. 
On October 30, the Clarion Project reported that Elibiary had tweeted that former Egyptian President and Brotherhood ideologue Mohamed Morsi "is Egypt's Mandela" and that the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood is not a security concern.
Clarion also contributed to a 37-page report about Elibiary largely based on a lengthy interview with him. We have summarized the 15 most disturbing facts from the report.
One shocking finding is that Elibiary has been close friends with Shukri Abu Baker, the CEO of the Holy Land Foundation, since the age of 16. The Foundation was a U.S. Muslim Brotherhood entity that was shut down by the U.S. government in 2001. Abu Baker was convicted of financing the terrorist organization Hamas.
Elibiary opposes the prosecution of Abu Baker and the Holy Land Foundation and said that he has helped “safeguard” other Muslim Brotherhood-linked organizations that faced possible prosecution.
Remarkably, not a single mainstream media outlet has covered this story. Few members of Congress have raised the matter. It’s up to American citizens to educate them. El 16 de abril de 1961 un día antes de que se produjera invasión de playa Jirón, estaba  en Varadero, donde me había “exilado” en casa de mis padres, para perder la visibilidad en mi pueblo ante la inminencia de la invasión.
Para mí ese día fue tan importante como el siguiente, quizás, ideológicamente mucho más importante.
Recuerdo que desde el radio de mi carro, oí el discurso de Fidel  ese día, estas fueron las palabras que realmente determinaron el futuro de Cuba, porque cualquiera que después de esa fecha hubiera apoyado a Fidel, ya no tenía la excusa de que no sabían que era comunista. 
Fidel dijo "Porque lo que no pueden perdonarnos los imperialistas -afirmó- es que estemos aquí  "eso es lo que no pueden perdonarnos, que estemos ahí en sus narices, ¡y que hayamos hecho una Revolución Socialista en las propias narices de los Estados Unidos!... Porque siempre hemos sido, y somos marxistas-leninistas y seguiremos siéndolos hasta el día de nuestra muerte”
Ese día las manifestaciones crearon el lema “somos comunistas pa´lante y pa´lante y al que no les guste que se tome un purgante”
Más tarde en otro discurso refiriéndose a ese día Fidel Castro textualmente dijo Desde ese día "nació realmente nuestro Partido marxista-leninista; a partir de aquella fecha el socialismo quedó para siempre cimentado con la sangre de nuestros obreros, campesinos y estudiantes...", explicó Fidel Castro.
El 16 de abril de 1961 es un día que vivirá incrustado en mi mente como el día que perdí mí patria y es el día en que determino por su continuidad de apoyo a Fidel el carácter de un individuo. Esto me hace a veces un individuo no muy popular en mi pensamiento. Pero eso fue para mi punto de vista, sobre los 26 años con interrupciones que viví en Cuba, no fue simplemente la revolución de los Castro, fue algo más profundo..
La historia de la Revolución Cubana empieza mucho antes que se realizara. Sus antecedentes directos comienzan con la Revolución Rusa.  En 1925 se funda el primer partido leninista de Cuba y la primera Confederación Nacional Obrera comunista, la C.N.O.C. una predecesora a la CTC que después también fue fundada por los comunistas.
Durante mi vida de adulto, que comenzó en los años 50s, sólo vi una tendencia populista- socialista en todos los partidos políticos.  Sólo vi corrupción en los políticos, vi colaborismo de ciertos empresarios con el gobierno populista de turno, pero  también vi la misma conducta en los sindicatos obreros.
Lo que vi fue un caldo de cultivo para la formación del socialismo totalitario, lo que vi fue a un  gánster oportunista recoger la fruta madura de los arboles socialistas que se habían plantado en Cuba desde los años 30s
El 4 de Septiembre de 1933, tenía yo entonces seis meses de vida, Fulgencio Batista, antiguo sargento - taquígrafo ascendido a coronel durante la revolución antimachadista, formó una pentarquía, que después se disolvió para nombrar presidente a Ramón Grau San Martín.
La revolución socialista parecía haber alcanzado sus objetivos: Grau llevó a cabo una política socialista, mientras las centrales azucareras eran ocupadas masivamente por los sindicatos. Pero la falta de coordinación entre las diversas fuerzas que habían derrotado a Machado favoreció el éxito del golpe militar de Batista que  con su ambición dictatorial derribó a Grau, en enero de 1934, e instaló en la presidencia al coronel Carlos Mendieta.  O sea que fue un problema entre revolucionarios de tendencia socialista. Los antiguos aliados socialistas que lo habían apoyado se le revelaron y fueron brutalmente sofocados por Batista (huelga general de 1935, muerte del líder socialista Antonio Guiteras).
La crisis solo fue superada por la prosperidad que se originó a raíz de la Segunda Guerra Mundial. La alianza mundial de los países socialistas y capitalistas contra las potencias del Eje repercutió en la política interna de Cuba. La suavización de las formas de gobierno se evidenció con la promulgación de la Constitución de 1940, y Batista, transformado en el portaestandarte del antifascismo, fue elegido presidente con el apoyo de los comunistas, encuadrados desde 1938 en el Partido Socialista Popular; en diciembre de 1941,
Cuba declaró la guerra a las potencias del Eje.  Estos fueron los años que pude apreciar en mi niñez, con una comprensión limitada pero como testigo de los hechos.
En estos años posteriores el movimiento obrero se extendió considerablemente, por el apoyo de Batista a la CTC controlado por los comunistas para complacer a los aliados durante la guerra.
Aprovecharon con habilidad las ventajas de la expansión económica originada por los altos precios de guerra.
Los principales focos de oposición a Batista se localizaban en los sectores de clase media encuadrados en el Partido Revolucionario Auténtico, cuyos dirigentes, eran también miembros fundadores de los factores socialistas al triunfo de la revolución contra Machado.
 Grau San Martín, triunfó en las elecciones de 1944. Batista aceptó su derrota, y sus partidarios fueron apartados de los altos cargos del ejército por Grau.
Hubo lo que pareció un oasis en el desierto socialista, pero fue simplemente un espejismo.  En 1948  famoso cirujano, Ricardo Núñez Portuondo trató de crear una alianza  con una plataforma conservadora para tratar de ganar la presidencia.  Ricardo Núñez Portuondo descendiente de mambises un hombre honrado e capacitado, no pudo ganar.
La principal objeción contra su persona es que era rico y no se podía identificar con las necesidades del pueblo como el revolucionario Carlos Prio Socarras.
Carlos Prio Socarrás, elegido en 1948, se caracterizó por una corrupción política y asociación con grupos gansteriles pero a la vez para cubrir su retaguardia tuvo un  alineamiento con la política internacional de los Estados Unidos y contra el movimiento obrero comunista que había sido apoyado por Batista
Y se creó un movimiento obrero cuando Eusebio Mujal un comunista arrepentido tomó las riendas de la CTC
Al mismo tiempo, la prosperidad azucarera acarreó una proliferación de a la corrupción, durante el gobierno de Prío, contra la que lucho el Partido Revolucionario del Pueblo Cubano Ortodoxo, movimiento cívico de oposición, de tendencia socialista fundado en 1946 por Eduardo R. Chibás un disidente del gobierno de Prío.
La demagogia socialista de Chibás y sus ataques a las empresas extranjeras, con amenazas de nacionalización de las compañías de Electricidad,Teléfonos e ingenios de estadounidenses, así como promesas de la redistribución de las riquezas, junto con sus justificados ataques al corrupto gobierno de Carlos Prío,  hizo del partido Ortodoxo el más popular de la nación e hicieron prever el éxito de los ortodoxos, apoyados por el PSP (El partido comunista), en las próximas elecciones.  
El suicidio de Chibás, ocurrido en agosto de 1951, provocó una campaña de protesta nacional, antes de las próximas elecciones. Batista se anticipó al triunfo de los ortodoxos  mediante un golpe militar con el apoyo de las fracciones del ejército que le eran fieles.   El partido de Batista que había fundado el Partido de Acción Unitaria, (PAU)  Estaba también formado por personas de la época revolucionaria de la lucha contra Machado.
 El gobierno de Batista siempre fue populista por el origen socialista de Batista aunque como Carlos Prío se aseguraba su permanencia no tratando de imponer el socialismo para no molestar a los Estados Unidos, dando la oportunidad a los empresarios domésticos a desarrollar lo que hoy se declara en el exilio como la prosperidad de Cuba antes de Fidel Castro.
Lo que yo vi durante mi historia de Cuba aunque muchos me digan lo contrario, fue un montón de políticos corruptos origen revolucionarios y enfáticamente populistas.
Vi una serie de empresarios ingeniosos  y un pueblo trabajador que a pesar de esos políticos hicieron de la economía Cuba, una de las más prósperas de la américa.  Así de simple era la vida en Cuba.
El cáncer del socialismo siempre estabas presente desde los años 30´s y 29 años después hizo metátesis el 16 de Abril del 1961. 
Después de algunas escaramuzas, ocho meses después en Septiembre del 1961 abandoné mi patria para no volver más.  Con esto terminó mi condición de testigo de la historia de Cuba.
Llevo a Cuba en mi corazón, pero no he sido más testigo presencial de su historia.

This morning, as I walked into the post office, I could not help but notice that the propagandists (also known as “useful idiots”) are hard at work attempting to continue deceiving the American people into believing that Obamacare is what is needed to further the good of the people at large. That is, to take from the “haves” and give to the “have-nots,” only to serve corrupt governmental purposes – when in fact, the opposite is true.

Russian revolutionary and propagandist Vladimir Lenin said, “A good communist finds use for everything, and nothing is more useful than a useful idiot.”
Today, on a daily basis, we see media propagandists fronting for this administration and special interests.
Thomas Jefferson rightly said, “If your government is big enough to give you everything you want, it is big enough to take away everything you have.”
Throwing off all of the warnings our forefathers have given, these “useful idiots” would have you overlook the corruption that is coming forth from this administration on a daily basis. They attempt to divert your attention from the facts (namely “The Law of the Land”) so that you will believe their contrived and fabricated lies, only to further their agenda.
Obamacare is clearly unconstitutional (see Article I, Section 8, of the United States Constitution). It only becomes effective if the people fall into line with this administration’s unlawful and unconstitutional procedures.

In order to pull the mask off of those who affront our liberties, below is some information that will help you understand what you are up against.
Robert Lichter and Stanley Rothman, two media scholars, interviewed 240 news anchors, editors, and news writers. Here is what they found:
47 percent believe adultery (cheating on your spouse) is OK (Exodus 20:14). This is illegal!
76 percent see nothing wrong with homosexuality. “Crimes Against Nature!” (Romans 1:26, Leviticus 18:22). This is illegal!
90 percent are for aborting babies. (Exodus 20:13) This is illegal! (Abortion has never been legalized! It may look like law, smell like law, and may even have the color of law. But it is, in fact, not law!)
86 percent seldom or never attend church.
Knowing that these people front for corruption, it is also important for the American people to know that the state-run-media (“useful idiots”) have less than a 21 percent approval rating. And folks, I have not even brought into the equation the “ground feeders” (you know them as “bloggers”) that work toward America’s demise right along with the state-run media, whom they emulate.
One of the tactics of this administration is to have you believe that they have “more numbers” than they actually do.
One should ask: “If they have all of this support, why then, would they have to lie?” Let me answer that for you: because they do not have the support! Headlines now declare, “White House scrambles to secure support for Obamacare.” (Leviticus 26:17-18)
I know that America is now in some serious and even dangerous times. It seems as if all hope is gone, but I would like to remind you, my friends, that hope is found in what you do with the truth you have been given. Do all that you can, and leave the results up to God.

China Reveals Its Ability to Nuke the US

The Chinese government has revealed for the first time that it has nuclear submarines capable of attacking cities throughout the United States.
Last week, state-run Chinese news agencies – such as China Central TV, the People’s Daily, the Global Times, the PLA Daily, the China Youth Daily and the Guangmin Daily – ran identical reports about the ‘awesomeness’ of the People’s Liberation Army’s submarine force.
‘This is the first time in 42 years since the establishment of our navy’s strategic submarine force that we reveal on such a large scale the secrets of our first-generation underwater nuclear force,’ the Global Times said in a lengthy article titled ‘China for the First Time Possesses Effective Underwater Nuclear Deterrence against the United States.’
Chinese news agencies also reported on the Army’s lethal intentions should it ever use the nuclear weapons the submarines are capable of launching.
‘Because the Midwest states of the U.S. are sparsely populated, in order to increase the lethality, [our] nuclear attacks should mainly target the key cities on the West Coast of the United States, such as Seattle, Los Angeles, San Francisco and San Diego,’ the Global Times said. ‘The 12 JL-2 nuclear warheads carried by one single Type 094 SSBN can kill and wound 5 million to 12 million Americans.
But West Coast cities aren’t the only metropolitan areas in the U.S. that face the threat of a nuclear attack from the Chinese, according to the country’s state-run media.

amenper: Mentiras y Verdades del Obamacare

Hay una indignación comprensible sobre la mentira de Obama sobre el Obamacare sobre lo que dijo que al que le gustaba su seguro de salud podía mantenerlo.
Pero realmente esto no me preocupa, después de todo no he visto político que no mienta en tiempo de campaña o cuando quiere aprobar una ley o un impuesto.
Lo que me preocupa es la verdad que Obama ha dicho sobre el Obamacare, que es que todo el mundo tendrá su seguro de salud.
 Me preocupa porque esto es realmente el preludio de la socialización de la medicina, y un precedente para otros cambios sociales y económicos. 
La realidad evidente es que el objetivo final del Obamacare es el gobierno como pagador único, y el que paga manda, Esto es el socialismo, ya sea en el mercado como en el sistema de salud.
Esto es el fin de la libertad individual.
He visitado muchos países con sistemas de medicina socializadas, pero solamente en algunos de ellos como Bélgica, Inglaterra y España, he tenido la oportunidad de hablar con ciudadanos de estos países sobre el sistema de salud.  A nadie realmente le gusta, la mayoría se adapta, algunos privilegiados tienen HMO de otros países, predominantemente de Estados Unidos.  Pagan por los servicios de salud de contado, que siempre es mejor que el del gobierno, y sus seguros le re-imbursan sus gastos.
¿Se adaptará este país a la medicina socializada?  Esa es la pregunta que me hago y me asusta la respuesta.  No creo que caigamos en el desastre de Cuba, por lo que me preocupa es quizás el pueblo se adapte al sistema Europeo. 
Es triste, porque aunque la prensa liberal idealiza la medicina de los países socializados, la realidad es que el sistema que disfrutamos en este país en el mejor del mundo, y las generaciones que han tenido el sistema americano van a sufrir con el cambio.
La baja de calidad de los servicios, la dilatación de los procedimientos que pueden tener resultados fatales, la escazes y la baja de calidad de los profesionales de la salud,  estos y otros males de la medicina socializada es algo a lo que la clase media de este país no está acostumbrada.
Quizás la democracia representativa pueda evitar que lleguemos a esos extremos, por eso es importante elegir a nuestros legisladores, el voto es el arma que todavía tenemos para poder conservar el sistema americano.

Edie Littlefield Sundby, who has been battling a virulent form of cancer since 2007, writes as a direct result of the president's signature healthcare plan, the team that has kept her alive — primary doctors, oncologists, hospitals, and a sympathetic insurance firm — has been torn asunder. 
In a Wall Street Journal op-ed implicitly aimed at President Barack Obama, Sundby says that against all odds her oncologists, primary physicians, and insurance company, have enabled her to survive even as her disease morphed and returned time and again.  
Describing herself as "one of the losers" in the Obamacare saga, Sundby writes her singular passion is staying alive not making political points: "For almost seven years I have fought and survived stage-4 gallbladder cancer, with a five-year survival rate of less than 2 percent after diagnosis." 
"I am a determined fighter and extremely lucky," Sundby writes. "But this luck may have just run out: My affordable, lifesaving medical insurance policy has been canceled effective Dec. 31."
Her insurance company has paid $1.2 million for her treatment never second guessing her doctors. Now, it is pulling out of the individual California market.
The California exchange insists she choose between either keeping her primary oncologist at Stanford University or her primary care doctors at the University of California, San Diego. 
 Sundby must either obtain coverage through the exchange — which would cut her off from her team — or pay 40 percent to 50 percent more for a plan with an unfamiliar insurance company, and probably inferior benefits, just to keep her medical team intact.
With time running on making a fateful decision, Sundby writes that she and her broker "still don't have a clue how to best proceed."
The president promised Americans like her they could keep their plans and doctors. Yet "I have been forced to give up a world-class health plan. The exchange would force me to give up a world-class physician."
Taking away a person's "ability to control their medical coverage" may be an "effective" way to manage costs, but it makes it harder for them to stay alive.

Tenemos una diferencia sobre el impuesto a los duenos de propiedades para el Jackson.
En Primer lugar el Jackson ha malgastado durante toda su historia los fondos que le han sido asignado.
En segundo lugar el Jackson padece la misma enfermedad incurable y es que Los Sindicatos los tienen cogidos por los testiculos.
Reconozco que el nuevo administrador del Jackson es una persona decente y capaz. (Por primera vez) Pero eso no le da derecho a meterle la mano en el bolsillo a los propietarios de viiendas.
Es absolutamente injusto y probablemente ilegal que personas que no son propietarios voten para que los propietarios sean los que paguen por los desatinos del Jackson.
Porque no se pone a votacion como un aumento a los taxes de las ventas???  No eso no se hace porque entonces todos votaran que no.
Repito el nuevo administrador ha dado indices que dicen que el Jackson tiene una mejor administracion. Pues estonces que utilicen los enormes ingresos del Jackson para resolver los problemas futuros y no lo sigan sacando de los bolsillos de los propietarios de viviendas; porque la teta de esa vaca ya no da leche lo que le estan sacando es sangre.
Yo y nuestro diario digital esta empenado en una campana para que todos los propietarios salgan a votar en contra de este nuevo y desangrante impuesto. The Federal Reserve liquidity coverage ratio proposal, approved unanimously at a meeting in Washington, goes further than the Basel III measure adopted in January and calls for earlier implementation than the EU.
The US plan, most stringent for the biggest banks, is looking at implementation by 2017 – two years ahead of Basel's deadline. "The proposed rule would, for the first time in the United States, put in place a quantitative liquidity requirement that would foster a more resilient and safer financial system," Fed chairman Ben Bernankesaid before the vote.
The proposal would require setting aside about $2 trillion (€1.44tn), and the Fed estimates that US banks are currently $200bn (€144bn) short.
The Basel Committee on Banking Supervision in January agreed on a liquidity coverage ratio, meant to ensure banks can survive a 30-day credit squeeze without the kind of government aid that was required after the 2008 crisis.
That standard would allow lenders to go beyond cash and low-risk sovereign debt to an expanded range of assets including some equities and corporate debt, according to the agreement.
The US version would include a limited amount of government-sponsored enterprise debt while excluding private-label mortgage-backed securities.

China imports another 109 tonnes of gold in September

There has been a fair amount of speculation in the press that Chinese gold demand may be slowing from its record levels recorded so far this year.  Well we can report that the speculation is correct – marginally!  Reading he latest Bloomberg headline relating to the newly released September figures out of Hong Kong “China Gold Imports From Hong Kong Fall on Premium, Slow Demand” one could be forgiven for thinking that the tide has indeed turned, yet, in reality, the September total for net gold imports from Hong Kong into mainland China at 109.4 tonnes remains the fifth highest month’s imports on record and although a full 0.8 tonnes below the previous month’s figure this hardly shows any kind of appreciable slowdown so far.
Indeed Chinese imports by this route over the first nine months of the year are more than double those of last year.
Again, if China’s net gold imports to date this year are extrapolated over the full year it suggests an import level of 1,109 tonnes – some 100 tonnes higher than the World Gold Council’s earlier estimate of the country’s likely overall imports this year.  But, if the momentum over the past five months continues to the year end then Chinese imports would reach over 1150 tonnes, which together with its own domestic production would bring Chinese demand this year to around 1570 tonnes.  This figure takes into account its own new mined gold output which is getting on for 60% of the global total of new mined gold.

However, other estimates suggest that China’s annual gold demand may well be quite a bit higher.  As we have pointed out here before, the Chinese government does not report total gold imports, and exports virtually none of its gold apart from to Hong Kong which is taken into account in the above figures.  So we have to rely on the official Hong Kong figures as a proxy for the country’s imports.  We believe it unlikely that imports via the former British colony represent the only route by which gold reaches the Chinese mainland, but any figure put on other gold imports would be pure speculation given the lack of any official data.
This all ties in with speculation that China may actually be surreptitiously building its gold reserves ahead of a future global reserve currency power play at some unspecified time in the future.
With Indian gold imports apparently picking up again ahead of Diwali (although there are contradictory reports on this apart from the recognition of very large price premiums to purchase the yellow metal there) we may well be at the position where China and India together account for close to the global total of newly mined gold.  But they are not the only countries importing high volumes of gold – most Eastern, Middle Eastern and some FSU countries are seeing strong demand.  Even with apparently declining continuing purchases from Central Banks which may not take up quite as much gold as predicted at the beginning of the year, then the pressures on physical gold supply would seem to be building strongly.  How long this is sustainable without metal prices beginning to rise sharply, as demand for physical metal exceeds supplies available to the markets, has to be extremely questionable.

El único estudio serio... Y que se puede creer fue realizado en Australia. Fue el más completo y complejo hasta la fecha, hecho mediante encuesta telefónica con 19.307 encuestados, (el que entrevisto suficientes personas para poder realizar un estudio) Las edades comprendidas entre los 16 y los 59 años en los años 2001-2002. El estudio encontró que un:
·        97,4% de los hombres se identificaban como heterosexuales = Normales.
·        Solamente 1,6 % como gays.
·        Un 0,9% como bisexuales.
Relativo a las mujeres, un:

Si nos basamos en estos datos, Las Cifras Deberían Concordar: si suponemos una media del 8% de la población como parte del grupo que se relaciona con personas del mismo sexo la cifra de hogares conformados por parejas homosexuales debería ser similar, por lo tanto, pero entre el ahora oficial 0,36% y 8% hay una distancia considerable, estadísticamente significativa.

Have Churches Become Agents Of The State?

Then-Senator Lyndon Baines Johnson devised what has proven to be a brilliant strategy in which to silence and neuter America’s churches. His bill, which created the 501c3 tax-exempt corporation status for churches back in 1954, has, over the decades, effectively muted America’s pulpits. The vast majority of churches today are thoroughly and completely intimidated by the threat of losing their tax-exempt status under the 501c3 section of the Internal Revenue Code (IRC). As a result, the vast majority of pastors are unwilling to address virtually any issue from the pulpit that could be deemed as political.
Add to the fear of losing tax-exempt status the egregiously slavish interpretation of Romans 13–that Christians and churches must submit to civil government no matter what–and a very legitimate argument can be made that Mr. Johnson not only silenced and neutered America’s churches, but that he has, in effect, turned them into agents of the state. More and more, the federal government is using pastors and churches to promote its big-government agenda.
Most readers are familiar with how FEMA created a program called “Clergy Response Teams” several years ago. Under this program, tens of thousands of pastors were instructed on how to assist the federal government in the event of a “national emergency.” Pastors were encouraged to teach Bible lessons from Romans 13 in which church members were told that God instructs them to always submit to civil authority unconditionally. They were taught to encourage their congregants to turn in their firearms and to be willing to relocate to government-provided shelters if that is what the government told them to do. The last report I read noted that these Clergy Response Teams have been established in over 1,300 counties in the United States. For those readers who are even casually acquainted with history, is this straight out of the Nazi handbook, or what? Now we learn that churches are being used to help the federal government promote and sell Obamacare.
According to TheBlaze.com, “Community organizers are joining pastors across the country to educate and help parishioners sign up for Obamacare. The coordinated initiative, called ‘Health Care from the Pulpit,’ is being implemented by Enroll America, a non-profit with the goal of maximizing ‘the number of uninsured Americans who enroll in health coverage made available by the Affordable Care Act.’
“The program has already reached a number of churches across the nation. In Jacksonville, Fla, Pastor John Newman is among those who invited community organizers from the group to his church to talk about the cost of Obamacare and the enrollment process.
“During the event, Enroll America invited congregants to fill out cards with basic information about themselves or people they knew who might be in need of health care, WJXT-TV [Jacksonville, Florida] reports.
“‘Our pastor, he keeps us real informed and grounded in what’s going on in the community, and he’s always bringing stuff to help us, so I love him for that,’ said one parishioner named Michelle Fletcher.
“Enroll America knows that pastors are trusted members of the community, which is why churches are a focus for education and information on the health care law.
“Through ‘Health Care from the Pulpit,’ the organization is working with faith leaders to ensure that people hear about availability–and with a captive audience in the pews, the move makes logistical sense.
“‘Pastors are trusted messengers. They’ll be able to get the story across, they’ll be able to relate to that story and they’ll be able to ask people to enroll in health insurance,’ Enroll America organizer Anthony Penna told WJXT.
“From Oct. 25-27, the organization launched its pulpit program as part of the Get Covered America campaign. Enroll America pledged to help churches who wish to enroll congregants or provide people in the community with information and resources.
“A press release from Oct. 22 on the Get Covered America website further explains the purpose of the in-church events.
“‘The “Treat Yourself to Coverage Weekend” will also engage dozens of faith groups for the first nationwide push of “Health Care in the Pulpit,” Get Covered America’s faith engagement program,’ it reads. “Working with a diverse group of faith and lay leaders, Get Covered America will host over 50 events across the country to further engage the faith community in education about enrollment in the marketplace.”
“Other initiatives are bringing churches into the Obamacare fold as well. Dr. Michael Minor, pastor of Oak Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Hernando, Miss., was recently given a federal grant to help enroll individuals in the health care program.
“Through the $317,742 fund, Minor will work with Cover Mississippi, a cohort of advocacy groups organized by the Mississippi Health Advocacy Program. He has already put together a group of 75 to 100 ‘navigators’ (trainers) around the state to provide information and access to Obamacare. While his efforts are unaffiliated with Enroll America, they serve as another example of a church getting involved in the health care roll-out.”

Think about it: before a bill becomes law, pastors are forbidden to address it from the pulpit, because it would be “interfering in politics–a violation of the separation of church and state;” but after a bill becomes law it is now the obligation and duty of pastors to support (and promote) it, because it is now the Biblical thing to do, per Romans 13. Was Johnson a diabolical genius, or what?
In the same manner that the Nazi government co-opted the churches of Germany, the federal government in Washington, D.C., is co-opting the churches of America today. During the rise of the Third Reich, Germany’s pastors and churches were taught the same misinterpretation of Romans 13 that pastors and churches in America are now being taught. And in the same way that Hitler used Germany’s pastors and churches to promote his big-government socialist agenda, America’s pastors and churches today are being used to promote the big-government socialist agenda emanating from Washington, D.C. Mr. Bush used the churches to promote the FEMA Clergy Response Teams, and now Mr. Obama is using the churches to promote the federal government’s socialized health care system.
I remind readers that during the Hitler years, the vast majority of German pastors and churches enthusiastically embraced the Nazi agenda even to the point of flying Nazi flags and giving the Nazi salute during the worship services in Germany’s churches. But who among us remembers the names of any of these pathetic pastors? Yet, we do remember (as does history itself) the names of plucky pastors such as Dietrich Bonhoeffer and Martin Niemoller who led the spiritual opposition to Hitler’s encroachment into the church.
Instead of the federal government’s draconian “Clergy Response Teams,” we need to resurrect Bonhoeffer’s band of heroes, which was known as the “Pastors’ Emergency League.” This was a group of German pastors dedicated to resisting the Nazi agenda–especially inside the church. The creed of Bonhoeffer’s Pastors’ Emergency League was:
1. To renew their allegiance to the Scriptures.
2. To resist those who attack the Scriptures.
3. To give material and financial aid to those who suffered through repressive laws or violence.
4. To repudiate the Nazi cause.
Bonhoeffer’s Pastors’ Emergency League soon became a nationwide movement called, the “Confessing Church.” In his masterful book, “Hitler’s Cross,” Erwin Lutzer summarizes the creed of the Confessing Church as being, “No human sovereign should rule over the church; it must be under the Word of God to fulfill its role.” (Page134)
Lutzer also noted that the Confessing Church soon realized that “blind obedience, even in matters that belong to the state, might be a violation of the Christian mandate.” (Ibid)
Lutzer further wrote, “Many of our Christian heroes were lawbreakers. Whether it was John Bunyan, who sat in a Bedford jail for his preaching, Richard Wurmbrand, who was beaten for teaching the Bible in Communist Romania, Christians have always insisted that there is a law higher than that of the state.” (Ibid)
And, again, to quote Lutzer: “[I]f we say that we will always obey the state, the state becomes our God.” (Ibid)
The brave Bonhoeffer rightly said, “Silence in the face of evil is itself evil: God will not hold us guiltless. Not to speak is to speak. Not to act is to act.” He also said, “We are not to simply bandage the wounds of victims beneath the wheels of injustice, we are to drive a spoke into the wheel.”
The names of the cowardly and compliant pastors who succumbed to Hitler’s ignominious intimidation are forever lost, while the names of Dietrich Bonhoeffer and Martin Niemoller will live forever.
In fact, are not the vast majority of highly revered Hebrew and Christian heroes the ones who RESISTED the power of the state when it became tyrannical? From Abram who resisted the “kings of the nations;” to Gideon; to Samson; to Queen Esther; to the prophet Micaiah; to Daniel; to Shadrach Meshach, and Abednego; to Simon Peter, who told civil leaders, “We ought to obey God rather than men;” to William Tyndale; to John Hus; to John Wycliffe; to John Bunyan; to Savonarola; to Martin Luther; to Dietrich Bonhoeffer; and to Jonas Clark, the names history regards most fondly are the names of men who RESISTED the power of the state when it attempted to interfere with man’s duty and devotion to God.
However, what do we see today? We see pastors and churches once again becoming the pawns of evil men in government. Pastors are not so much messengers of God and watchmen on the wall as much as they are agents of the state. They are not so much shepherds who fight and give their lives for the sheep as much as they are facilitators of the wolves who seek to prey on the sheep. And in modern history, the seed of this compromise and complacency began in 1954 when Lyndon Johnson introduced the devilish 501c3 tax-exempt corporation status for churches.
I am absolutely convinced–now more than ever–that America will never experience any sort of spiritual awakening until pastors and Christians abandon the 501c3 government churches and repudiate the devilish doctrine of unlimited obedience to Caesar. Until we return the Church to its rightful owner, Jesus Christ, the tentacles of oppression and tyranny will continue to strangle our land and our liberties.

Romney Slams Obama's 'Fundamental Dishonesty' Sunday, 03 Nov 2013 05:36 PM By Newsmax Wires

Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, the Republican candidate who lost the 2012 presidential race to President Barack Obama, accused the president Sunday of "fundamental dishonesty" when he repeatedly promised Americans they would be able to keep their existing insurance plans under Obamacare.
“He wasn’t telling the truth,” Romney said on NBC’s “Meet the Press.”
“That fundamental dishonesty has really -- has really put in peril the whole foundation of his second term,” Romney said. “I think it is rotting it away.”
What “has really undermined the president's credibility in the hearts of the American people is that he went out, as a centerpiece of his campaign and as a centerpiece of Obamacare over the last several years, saying time and time again that fundamental to his plan was the right people would have to keep their insurance plan, and he knew that was not the case....”
Romney added: "Had the president been truthful and told the American people that millions would lose their insurance and millions more would see their premiums skyrocket… there would have been such a hue and cry against it, (that) it would not have passed.”
During the presidential campaign and later, as Congress debated the Affordable Health Care Act, Obama repeatedly said that no one would be forced to give up their existing health coverage under the law.
As governor of Massachusetts, Romney signed into law a 2006 state program used as a model for the federal law, known as Obamacare. Massachusetts, Romney said, “teaches some important lessons some states are not going to want to follow.”
Health insurance is more expensive in Massachusetts than in any other state, Romney pointed out, adding that “Texas and Minnesota and Montana” are not necessarily going to want to adopt such a costly plan.
"First of all, the Massachusetts experience was a state-run plan," Romney explained. "The right way to deal with health care reform is not to have a one-size-fits-all plan that's imposed on all the states, but recognizing the differences between different states' populations, states should be able to craft their own plans to get all their citizens insured, and to make sure that preexisting conditions are covered.
"And there's some other differences," Romney said. "In Massachusetts, we phased in the requirements so that there was a slow rollout. That way you could test the systems as you went along to make sure there wouldn't be glitches.
"I think you're going to find, when it's all said and done, after all these states that are laboratories of democracy get their chance to try their own plans, that those who follow the path that we pursued will find it's the best path, and we'll end up with a nation that's taken a mandate approach."
Romney said Obama must work with Republicans if he's going to fix the mess that the Obamacare rollout has become.
"I think the only way he can rebuild credibility is to work with Republicans and Democrats and try and rebuild a foundation," Romney said. "We've got to have a president. We've got to have a president that can lead. And right now, he's not able to do so."
The White House quickly went on the defensive.
The Massachusetts plan did take time to get off the ground, White House senior adviser Dan Pfeiffer said, enrolling only 0.03 percent of the population in the first month.
“I can promise you that the first enrollment numbers, which were released later this month, are not going to be what we want them to be. There’s no question about that,” Pfeiffer said on ABC’s “This Week” program. “The website hasn’t worked the way we want it to work. But we take responsibility for that, take responsibility for the errors, take responsibility for fixing it.”
Between 5 million and 7 million people will need to enter private health care exchanges for the system to work, said Ezekiel Emanuel, vice provost at the University of Pennsylvania and an architect of the Obama plan. Enrollment will accelerate as the March deadline approaches, just as it did in Massachusetts, he said.
“You would expect at this stage of the game, from everything we know about the exchanges, that not a lot of people would sign up,” Emanuel said on “Fox News Sunday.” “People will put off buying until the end.”
After appearances on the Hill last week, administration officials are set to testify again this week about what went wrong with the online health portal. The government’s health care website tells visitors that online applications aren’t available from 1 a.m. to 5 a.m. ET daily “while we make improvements.”
Marilyn Tavenner, administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, which has overseen the building and startup of federal online health exchanges, is scheduled to appear before the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee Nov. 5.
Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius is set to appear the next day before the Senate Finance Committee.
The flawed debut of the health website, with delays, outages and software errors, is tarnishing Obama’s signature legislative achievement and has complicated his second-term agenda as his approval ratings drop.
Forty-eight percent of Americans said the government is doing a “poor” job of implementing the health law, a Kaiser Family Foundation poll found. The law itself is supported by about 47 percent of respondents who said it should be kept or expanded, compared with 37 percent who said they want it repealed.
“I think government is inherently inept, because they don’t work on a profit motive,” Senator Rand Paul, a Republican from Kentucky, said on the “This Week” program. “I would say that there are fundamental things government can do. But government shouldn’t take on new opportunities or new things to do when it’s not managing what it has now.”
Romney also tipped his hat to New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, a potential Republican candidate for president in 2016.
“Chris could easily become our nominee and save our party and help get this nation on the right track again,” Romney said. “They don’t come better than Chris Christie.”
Christie, who is favored to win re-election on Nov. 5, is “one of the very strongest lights of the Republican Party,” Romney said. Christie, Senator Marc Rubio, former Florida Governor Jeb Bush and Representative Paul Ryan of Wisconsin, Romney’s former running mate, all are electable, he said.

Larry Choate III married Daniel Lennox Saturday afternoon at the U.S. Military Academy's Cadet Chapel. It was the first wedding of two men at West Point.
WEST POINT, N.Y. — Two West Point graduates were married Saturday in the military academy's first wedding between two men.
Larry Choate III, class of 2009, married Daniel Lennox, class of 2007, before about 20 guests. Choate, 27, taught Sunday school at the U.S. Military Academy's Cadet Chapel and said he always thought of it as the place he would get married if he could.
West Point hosted two same-sex weddings of women in late 2012, more than a year after New York state legalized gay marriage. But Saturday's wedding was the first time two men wed at West Point.
"It's maybe one more barrier that's pushed over a little bit, or maybe one more glass ceiling that's shattered that makes it easier for the next couple," Choate said Friday.
Choate and Lennox are out of the military and wore tuxedoes for the ceremony. Some of their guests were in uniform.
The 28-year-old Lennox is getting his master's degree in business administration at Harvard University. Choate is applying to Harvard's John F. Kennedy School of Government.
The pair did not know each other as cadets but met later through a friend.
Chaplain Cynthia Lindenmeyer officiated at the ceremony.

Hay veces que no usamos la función de la computadora que nos rectifica los errores ortográficos y  tipográficos y esto en algunos casos hace que digamos algo diferente a los que quisimos decir.
Aquí algunos ejemplos:
Si queremos decir que alguien tiene un cuerpo “esbelto” pero escribimos “esbulto” se puede interpretar que tiene un bulto en el abdomen que es un barrigón..
Si quisimos escribir “Inocente” y ponemos “anocente” quizás nos interpreten que tiene un culo decente.
Si estamos hablando de una “enchilada de camarones” y ponemos “Enchulada de camarones” pues se puede interpretar que los camarones eran unos chulos.
Pero hay que prestar atención cuando escribimos la palabra “chulo” la falta de la H es fatal.
Como estamos entre cubanos tenemos que tener cuidado  cuando nos referimos a un “pollo” y teclar bien no vayamos a marcar la B
Los teclados no tienen la letra “ñ” lo cual hace una diferencia cuando hablamos de un buen año que tuvo una deportista. La referencia de un buen ano es diferente a un buen año..
También hay que tener cuidado cuando decimos que lo “condenaron” si te equivocas y dices que lo “condonaron” puede parecer otra cosa.
Fíjate en deletrear bien cuando hablas de una medida, no te confundas y pongas una media o lo que es peor una mieda que parece y huele mal.
Si dices que  tienes ganas de  botar al presidente, asegúrate que no vas a teclear la letra “V” que está al lado de la “B”. Pueden creer que fuistes a votar por el presidente y te haga responsable de sus problemas..
Otro problema son las palabras polisémicas, que son las palabras que tienen la misma manera de escribirse pero que tienen diferente significado en el contexto cuando la escribimos.
“Cómo”, por ejemplo “como”. Si repetimos la palabra por error estaría diciendo “cómo como” que es verdad como mucho.
¿Qué cómo cómo? , pues como cómo como.
Cuando hablamos de cura, puede ser una “cura” de una enfermedad o del “cura” de la iglesia hay que definir bien el contexto en la frase.
El buen “vino” es bueno dependiendo de dónde “vino” y de qué “año”, pero si “vino” de un mal viñero y de un mal “ano” entonces no es buen vino y no debe de tener un buen aroma por eso del ano..
“Viste como se viste” parece que se repite la palabra pero es un chisme entre mujeres
Si decimos que la situación de Cuba nos produce “cólera” antes era claro que era que nos ponía bravo. Pero ahora hay que aclarar bien porque pueden pensar que tenemos una enfermedad infecciosa.
Todos saben que hay veces que “adultero” algunos escritos, pero eso no quiere decir que soy un “adúltero”.
“Amo” a mi mujer, pero por desgracia no puedo ser el “amo” de mi mujer.
Nunca he estado en el “ejército” ni me “ejercito”.  Y se me nota.
Siempre tengo el “hábito” de llegar temprano a la casa que “habito”
Hay personas que tiene problemas con la “ córnea” del ojo, y otros que tienen problema porque la mujer los “cornéa”
Le pisaron el “callo”, pero no gritó,,, se “calló.
Si decimos que una mujer está perdida, hay que aclarar si es una puta o es que no sabe dónde está.
Pero nos imaginamos que “sería seria”
“Tenía” una “Tenia”, es un poco científico una “Tenia” es un parásito intestinal.
Si “vienes” de Viena seguro que viste un “Vienés”.
“Tómate “un jugo de “tomate”, y es mejor con un poco de Vodka.
Te puedes poner un “rótulo” en la “rótula”,  los tatuajes están de moda.
Si vas a Georgia  y visitas “Sabanah” te tapas con una “sábana”.
Si vas al aeropuerto de Los Ángeles,  no lleves un “revolver”, porque vas a “revolver” la cosa.
