Este escrito de Peggy Noonan nos desnuda el sentimiento del discurso de Obama anoche.
Hubiera sido mejor que no hubiera dicho nada.

En lo único que no estoy de acuerdo es que las personas debían de estar pensando en ver otro canal. En nuestro caso los Miami Marlins son tan depresivos como un discurso de Obama, y volvieron a perder, lo cual es tan monótono y predecible como un discurso de Obama.
El punto final de este asunto es que Obama mete la pata dos veces, primero cuando arrogantemente presenta una linea roja a Siria para un ataque que era rechazado por la nación, después mete la pata cuando exige al congreso que comparta su culpa.
Entonces para sacar la pata pide ayuda a un enemigo, Putin, y saca la pata con un arreglo cosmético que le da la oportunidad de sacar la pata pidiendo al congreso que no someta el caso a votación por el momento.
Quizás este movimiento de meter la pata y sacar la pata se convierta en un nuevo baile que popularice la administración de Obama.

He should have canceled the speech. It was halfhearted, pro forma and strange. It added nothing, did not deepen or advance the story, was not equal to the atmosphere surrounding it, and gave no arguments John Kerry hasn’t made, often more forcefully, in the past 10 days.
It was a time filler: The White House had asked for the time and had to fill it. But at this point in the president’s Syria drama an indifferent piece of work only underscores the overall impression that things just aren’t working that well in the White House.
It is hard to believe a lot of people watched. It’s hard to believe hearts were changed.
I was afraid he was going to do “foaming at the mouth”, “blood and hair,” “gasping for breath” and “writhing in pain.” Presidents shouldn’t say words and phrases like that. He should have referred listeners and viewers to the easily available and highly graphic documentation of the attacks, and simply characterized them as the painful thing they are. You’re trying to influence and persuade, you’re not trying to make people lean away, or remind them that repeats of “Law & Order SVU” are on Channel 47.
Another problem, and there’s no nice way to say this: It is hard to believe such a chill man has such warm feelings about the sad end of strangers far away. I think this has been one of his big unspoken problems in the selling of his Syria policy. It is based to some degree on his emotional indignation, and it is not fully credible because it’s hard to believe he’s so moved.
On the policy: A problem with the limited, targeted strike or strikes that he speaks of is that nobody knows—literally, nobody knows—exactly how strong Bashar Assad is. Nobody knows what position he is really in. A man who uses weapons of mass destruction may simply be a monster. On the other hand he may be a monster who has reason to fear he’s losing. He may be a vulnerable monster. And a targeted strike notmeant to take him out, may take him out. Which will summon a new version of hell.
The president is looking into Russia’s recent proposal, which is among recent “encouraging signs” that have “potential.”
They ought to go back to giving major addresses in the Oval Office, because it has a mystique and stature that it lends to those who sit at the big desk. The president’s staffers apparently think the Oval is tired, or insufficiently groovy, or something. They have him stand at a podium and talk into an empty room under Bela Lugosi lighting. The groovelocity of this choice is lost on me

Rabbis urge Congress to back Obama on Syria

Leading rabbis covering the religious and political spectrum urged lawmakers in Congress to support President Obama’s plans to strike Syria to stop its use of chemical weapons.
“We write you as descendants of Holocaust survivors and refugees, whose ancestors were gassed to death in concentration camps,” said the letter sent Wednesday, on the eve of Rosh Hashanah. “We write you as a people who have faced persecution for many centuries, and are glad to have found a safe refuge where we can thrive in the United States.”
The 17 signers included Rabbi Eric Yoffie, a past president of the Union for Reform Judaism; Rabbi Yosef Blau, the rosh yeshiva at Yeshiva University; leaders of the Conservative movement; and essayists such as Leon Wieseltier and Rabbi Joseph Telushkin.
They called on Congress “with great urgency to authorize the President to use force in Syria ‘in connection with the use of chemical weapons or other weapons of mass destruction,’ as outlined in his August 31st draft legislation.
“Through this act, Congress has the capacity to save thousands of lives,” the letter said.
The authors noted that the letter was timed for before the Days of Awe between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.
“May this coming year be one of life and creation the world over, in which we cease to witness the deaths of so many innocent human beings,” it said.

This reminds me of the old Viet Nam slogan:

ALBERTO PEREZ: Arrogancia
Esperaba un discurso de Obama más humilde, después de todo Siria es otro fracaso de su política internacional que ha tratado de salvar escondiéndose con un arreglo de un enemigo, Putin de Rusia.
Ante ls oposición de una mayoría de los estadounidenses, que consideraban imprudente entrar en otra guerra en el Oriente medio, y algunos, que consideraban que no era necesario el comprometerse a una  intervención o
cualquier acción militar que casi sin duda iba a ser nada más que un gesto vacío, no avanzando sin un interés vital de Estados Unidos, tuvo que aceptar un arreglo que sin lugar a dudas es simbólico.
Una verificación en el terreno, es prácticamente imposible en este caso de una nación en estado de guerra.

Sólo para salvar la cara de su metedura de pata con su línea roja, no ha tenido más remedio Obama que aceptar un arreglo con los enemigos de la nación.
Buscar el apoyo del congreso también fue un fracaso, todo el mundo lo vio como una estratagema política, una treta para ganar más cubierta pidiendo la complicidad de la cámara legislativa.
Israel y los pocos  estados árabes moderados sienten que le envían las señales tan confusas que ha hecho daño a las causas comunes que compartimos.  Los pocos amigos en el Medio Oriente se preguntan ahora si con su nuevo enfoque para consultar con el Congreso sobre dichas medidas, no se ha encajonado  hasta el punto que enemigos como Irán se envalentonarán.
Obama se nos quiere presentar ahora como alguien sensitivo que no ha cambiado de opinión por el fracaso de su gestión pero para que no murieran niños inocentes en los ataques.
No había hablado de esto antes cuando decía que el ataque era inminente y necesario.
Incluso el Presidente parece oponerse a sí mismo en este caso. En cuestiones de principio, a la vez está presentándose indeciso y sin liderazgo  frente a este tipo de compromiso en el Medio Oriente y los de activismo humanitario para evitar problemas como los que nos enfrentamos en Ruanda.
Pide el voto del Congreso, pero se reserva el derecho a ignorarlo.
Él está en contra de cambio de régimen, pero busca posición ganar apoyo político para la "degradación" de las capacidades de Assad y se compromete a  armar a las fuerzas de oposición que ciertamente tienen como su meta deponer a Assad
Él busca apoyo internacional y justificación en el derecho internacional, pero luego sugiere que conseguir la aprobación del Congreso estadounidense sería suficiente para legitimar actuar solo.
De hecho, podemos mirar hacia atrás en los años de Obama y decir que esta particular cadena de errores  podría algún día ser visto como la incapacidad para detener el programa de armas nucleares de Irán y Corea del Norte, o el fracaso para armar una política coherente en el Medio Oriente en la estela de la primavera árabe o el fracaso para seguir en el pivote de Asia que se requería para contrarrestar el crecimiento de influencia China en la región.
Pero por ahora, es digno de observar los eventos de la semana pasada como lo que han sido:
Unas heridas auto-infringidas a la Presidencia-
Pero en el discurso Obama se presentó arrogantemente, presentando su agenda como un triunfo personal.
En el exilio de Londres en 1940, Charles de Gaulle bien conocido por su arrogancia, declaró que "es mi deber asumir la responsabilidad de Francia" ("etait una moi le la Francia").
Ningún presidente en la democracia representativa estadounidense debe presentarse con la arrogancia dictatorial de Gaulle de asumir personalmente, casi místicamente, la política internacional de la nación, o declararse como el único responsable en un discurso mientras se excusa en otro
Seguridad y poder de Estados Unidos son algo dependientes de la estatura de un Presidente, que no debe ser disminuida innecesariamente. Pero no se puede utilizar la seguridad y el poder como excusa de equiparar el bienestar de los Estados Unidos con preferencias políticas o la salud política de un presidente. La importancia real pero limitada de prestigio presidencial y la disminución limitada de su gestión presidencia frente a los ciudadanos es la tradición estadounidense desde su fundación.
George Orwell, dijo que la falta de sinceridad es el enemigo del lenguaje claro.
Orwell se asombraría del lenguaje de este gobierno  que habla de "flexibilización cuantitativa" en lugar de decir que está imprimiendo dinero y utiliza "sondeo de desarrollo" y "entregas extraordinarias" en lugar de un lenguaje más concreto para justificar lo estímulos. En el debate sobre Siria ha presentado una frase peculiar, "la oposición investigada".(Vetted Opposition), ¿Qué quieren decir con esto?
Utiliza esto para defender la intervención implicando que los combatientes anti-Assad han sido investigados lo suficiente para disipar las dudas sobre los beneficiarios de la ayuda militar según corresponda de las acciones de Estados Unidos.
Pero hay un escepticismo justificado, dado a los prodigios de la confusión en las declaraciones de la administración y su falta de credibilidad.
El argumento para atacar a Siria para fortalecer una "norma"  (las armas químicas) es más débil que el argumento para incluir al de Congreso para fortalecer el equilibrio constitucional, las armas químicas siempre ha existido y existirán en la región en todas las fracciones y gobiernos.
Una acción militar sólo es justificable si estas armas están en mano de elementos que puedan usarlas en un ataque inminente contra los Estados Unidos o sus aliados en la región..
El resultado de la votación en atacar Siria puede ser menos importante que el hecho de la votación.
Pero el derecho otorgado al voto del Congreso sobre Siria puede dañar la Presidencia porque Obama lo ha hecho por extralimitación, y con la retórica de sus sofismas impone un llamamiento para la confianza incondicional.
 El arrugamiento de su Presidencia probablemente se hizo irreversible cuando emitió su afirmación inmadura de que no fue él pero "el mundo" el que dibujó una línea roja sobre las armas químicas.
Su política está condenada a tragarse su consuetudinaria arrogancia,  que hasta ahora siempre ha tenido durante su mandato- un menosprecio total por la separación de poderes- Implacable e  impaciente con la arquitectura constitucional
Pero hoy se nos presentó con la arrogancia de un De Gaulle.
 Obama ni siquiera tiene del general de Gaulle la identificación mística de este con su nación, o una razón desesperada como la del general de Gaulle para tal conducta aquel momento de la historia.
Sin embargo, las referencias de Obama a "mi ejército"  “mi gobierno” utilizando la primera persona repetidamente tienen un antecedente francés en  la frase del monarca Luis XIV, l’etat c’est moi
Pero en este caso, no creo que realmente los militares ni la nación se consideren propiedad de Obama y aunque se presenta como uno, Obama no es un monarca..
Este Presidente ha hecho inadvertidamente un caso enormemente negativo para la oficina de la presidencia por las pretensiones de su cargo.

D.C. THROWS UP ROADBLOCK FOR PATRIOTIC BIKERS. Permit denied for rally to counter Muslim march
Thousands of bikers, maybe even tens or thousands or hundreds of thousands, will be “rallying” in Washington, D.C., Wednesday even though city officials reportedly denied them a permit for a straight-through drive that would have allowed them to travel quickly on roads that would have been blocked to cross-traffic.
Now, the bikers will be stopping at every stop sign or stop light, yielding to pedestrians wherever appropriate, and otherwise observing all traffic regulations.
These are the plans being confirmed today on Facebook and other social media mediums for the bikers who decided to rally at the same time the American Muslim Political Action Committee proposed what originally was billed as a “Million Muslim March,” which was given a permit.
The Muslim organization later changed the name to “Million American March Against Fear,” and where promoters initially said their march was to protest “anti-Islamic bigotry in the years that ensued the al-Qaida terrorist attacks that killed nearly 3,000 people on American soil,” it later was changed.
Now the group says its goal is to “ask all individuals and organizations working for peace to attend this collective action to tell our government leaders we want transparency and policies of peace. In the past 12 years since 9/11 the United States government as failed to protect and promote constitutional liberties and human life, here and abroad. We feel that accountability in government has been ignored and the time has arrived to collectively speak truth to power.”
That was after an early statement from promoters that said, “On 9.11.01 our country was forever changed by the horrific events in New York. The entire country was victimized by the acts done on that day. Muslim and non Muslim alike were traumatized but we as Muslims continue 12 years later to be victimized by being made the villains. To this day every media outlet and anti Islamic organization has committed slanderous and libel statements against us as Muslims and our religion of Islam.”
The issue of the denial of a permit for special accommodations for the bikers seem of little consequence to those attending.
At BizPacReview, writer Joe Saunders reported, “Denied a permit by the nation’s capital for a special ‘non-stop’ ride through town with a waiver for red lights, stop signs and other traffic controls, organizers of the ’2 Million Bikers to DC’ ride to remember 9/11 are undeterred.
“Just riding on a public street doesn’t take any special permission after all, even if you have a million people doing it. They just sought the permit to make life easier on the city’s residents and businesses.
“So the ride will go on. It’s just going to take a little longer.”
On a Facebook page for the organizers of the grass-roots movement, they wrote, “We find this regretful for the residents and businesses of that great city, and humbly offer our apologies. What could have been a one or two hour ride through will now likely be an all-day event. We will be obeying all laws. We will be stopping at all stoplights, stop signs, and yielding to all pedestrians.”
No route is being publicly announced ahead of time, DEPT. ‘This Ride Only event has been denied.’ When asked why, hereonly response was ‘It’s a weekday and DC residents are not going to (sic) happy with you folks.’
“We did our best to explain that IF we received assistance with road blocks, etc. it would be beneficial to the residents of DC as we would be able to get through in much less time. Her response, ‘Permit denied.’ NOW I will say almost every LEO Dept that was on that call did reach out to us afterwards. They were concerned as well, but MOST were “VERY SUPPORTIVE! They were not able to help with road blocks, but wished us well!”
The Muslim organization announced earlier it got a permit for its event.
In what was a virtual impossibility before the Internet, hundreds, even thousands, of biker groups are planning to show up for the but they said the event is to launch at 8 a.m. at the Harley Davidson of Washington location in Fort Washington, Md.
Kickstands go up at 11 a.m., Saunders reported.
Also on the BizPac site, organizations posted a comment, “We WILL ride as we did not really need a permit, but did apply for THEIR benefit. We were told by Sheila Gotha of the Permits “2 Million Bikers to DC.”counter the planned Sept. 11 ‘Million Muslim March.’”
On the Facebook page, the community purpose is described as: “To honor those who were killed on 911 and our armed forces who fought those who precipitated this attack!”
Volunteers were coordinating travel for groups from various states.
A Ronald Curaba said: “Who ever comments I would like to do this … should shut up and show up! Im a retired FDN Lt. I should be at my old firehouse where I was on that ill fated day …. but I will be in DC riding! God willing!”
Added Bryan Short: “How appropriate. A million muslims surrounded by 2 million hogs!”
Organizers of the page added: “Folks, just wanted to say thank you for your support. This event has been a lot of work. But for our country it is worth it. As with any event such as this we are being attacked from every angle. But we will not allow those distractions to deter us from our goal nor the goal of the originator of this event Mr. Bill Williamson.”
“God Bless Ride Safe,” added Tammy Bowman.
“Ride on brothers,” said Bob Halley.
“Don’t forget ya’ll don’t need a bike to participate. Support vehicles will be needed. I suppose most of the U.S. will be there in spirit. Those of us who are lucky to still have employment still need to work their knickers off to survive these days. Perhaps red/white/blue boys can adorn people’s homes in support?” suggested Trish Zysk.
Options for those who cannot make the trek to D.C.?
“Organize a ride to your own state Capitol! Get with like-mined folks and get started planning! Someone take a lead in your state and get the event in motion.”
Also, get with your ‘Impeach Obama Overpass’ organization.
“Whatever you decide please do something to support America on 911!”

At the Mr. Conservative blog, the author said: “The best way to counter bad speech is to oppose it with good speech. Sometimes ‘speech’ can be expressed simply by the number of people who are willing to show up to support a principle. That’s the view that hundreds of bikers (so far) across American have as they prepare to join a ’2 Million Biker Ride to DC’ to have arrested on American soil 226 home grown terrorists. One-hundred eighty six of them were Muslims. Not Jews. Not Hindus, not Buddhist. But Muslims.”
Gabriel says the facts are that Muslim immigrants to the U. S. are responsible for a disproportionally large number of domestic terrorism cases.
“Of all immigrants who have ever immigrated to America since its birth, America never encountered such hatred and terrorism coming out of one faith based group in our country that accounts for less than 2 percent of the American population and is now responsible for over 80 percent of attacks against America,” she said.
“In 11 years since 911, the Islamic American community has not organized a one million man march to condemn Islamic terrorism against America and call Hamas, al-Qaida, Hezbollah, al-Shabaab, and other groups by their names – terrorists,” Gabriel said.
“Instead they are rallying to condemn America for what they call unfair policy here and abroad. It is about time the Muslim American community comes out and condemns every imam’s preaching in mosques throughout America who advocates overthrowing our democracy and inciting hatred against infidels and America,” Gabriel said.
“They should be coming out by the millions supporting America and its policy in eradicating Islamic terrorism, supremacy and violence,”

1. In 1968 , Bobby Kennedy was shot and killed by a Muslim male.
2. In 1972 at the Munich Olympics, athletes were kidnapped and massacred by
Muslim males.
3. In 1972 a Pan Am 747 was hijacked and eventually diverted to Cairo where
a fuse was lit on final approach and it was blown up shortly after landing
by Muslim males.

4. In 1973 a Pan Am 707 was destroyed in Rome , with 33 people killed, when
it was attacked with grenades by Muslim males.
5. In 1979 , the US embassy in Iran was taken over by Muslim males.
6. During the 1980's a number of Americans were kidnapped in Lebanon by
Muslim males.
7. In 1983 , the US Marine barracks in Beirut was blown up by Muslim males .
8. In 1985 , the cruise ship Achille Lauro was hijacked and a 70 year old
American passenger was murdered and thrown overboard in his wheelchair by
Muslim males.
9. In 1985 , TWA flight 847 was hijacked at Athens , and a US Navy diver
trying to rescue passengers was murdered by Muslim males.

males.

No, I really don't see a pattern here to justify profiling, do you? So, to
ensure we Americans never offend anyone, particularly fanatics intent on
killing us, airport security screeners will no longer be allowed to profile
certain people. Absolutely No Profiling! They must conduct random searches
of 80-year-old women, little kids, airline pilots with proper
identification, secret agents who are members of the President's security
detail, 85-year old Congressmen with metal hips, and Medal of Honor winner
and former Governor Joe Foss, but leave Muslim Males alone lest they be
guilty of profiling.

Barack Obama visita la escuela primaria a la que  asiste el famoso y temido Pepito.  Cuando llega al salón  están en medio de una discusión relacionada al  significado de algunas palabras.
La maestra con todo respeto le pregunta al  Presidente si gusta dirigir la discusión sobre la palabra "TRAGEDIA".
Un niño inicia la discusión:
- "Si mi mejor amigo, que vive en una finca, está jugando en el campo y el tractor le pasa por encima y lo mata, eso debe ser una tragedia."
- "Pues no", aclara Obama, "eso no sería una tragedia, eso sería un accidente."
Se levanta una niña y expone:
"Si la guagua escolar va con 50 niños y se cae por un precipicio, matando a todo el mundo, eso sí sería una tragedia."
- "Tampoco", explica Obama, "creo que eso no sería una tragedia, mas bien sería una gran pérdida."
El salón entonces se mantiene en silencio y nadie más intenta hablar, así que el Presidente pregunta:
"¿No hay nadie que pueda dar un ejemplo de que es una tragedia?"
En ese momento, el temido Pepito, levanta su mano, y muy comedido y con respeto comienza a hablar:
- "Pues fíjese Sr. Presidente,  entiendo que si Ud. y su esposa van en el 'Air Force One', y éste es derribado por un misil norteamericano, eso SI sería una tragedia, no cree usted?"
- "Excelente niño... muy bien expuesto, ahora bien, pero..., puedes decirnos porque catalogas 'eso' como una tragedia?"
- "Bueeeeeeeeno, tiene que ser una tragedia, porque nadie diría que es una gran pérdida y... me juego el culo a que tampoco es un accidente!!!"


About two years ago, a book called "Where's the Birth Certificate? The Case That Barack Obama Is Not Eligible to Be President" by New York Times bestselling author Jerome Corsi was the fastest-selling new book in the country a month before its scheduled release.
On the day it hit No. 1 at Amazon, White House records indicate Obama was desperate to derail the issue of eligibility from breaking through into the mainstream media, which has been complicit in covering up all questions pertaining to the issue for four years.
What Obama did next was not unexpected by Corsi and the WND Books team that published it.
"Jerry Corsi called me a couple weeks earlier and told me his sources said the White House was going to release a fraudulent Hawaiian birth certificate before the book released to head off the success of the book and to end the burgeoning controversy," says Joseph Farah, founder and chief executive officer of WND and WND Books. "There was not much we could do about that. We were anticipating the move and planning to subject the document to intense forensic investigation."
On April 27, 2011, the White House posted the alleged long-form birth certificate on its official government website to quell the growing doubts about its existence.
"The media, partners in the crime of the cover-up of Obama's ineligibility for the presidency, quickly embraced the document without even a cursory examination," said Farah.
And that appeared to be the end of the eligibility debate – with even Donald Trump capitulating.

But something changed recently when the very first law enforcement investigation of Obama's eligibility announced its findings that the document was indeed fraudulent. The eligibility issue is alive and well and threatening to derail Obama's re-election bid.
For WND's part, Corsi quickly assembled all of the forensic investigative findings about the document itself in an updated e-book version of the book, "Where's the Real Birth Certificate?" Those findings provided much of the preliminary probable cause for the investigation by Arizona's Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio, who oversaw a six-month law enforcement probe – the first ever conducted into the matter of national security and constitutional integrity.


WASHINGTON – The "Overpasses for Obama's Impeachment" movement is suddenly sweeping the nation.
WND first reported on the booming movement in July, and now the group claims it has mushroomed to 40,000 members across America to become "the largest grassroots movement in the nation" in the few weeks since it was launched in June.
The group's national website has links to Facebook pages of groups in all 50 states, plus Washington, D.C.
And it is on those Facebook pages that organizers recruit and inform, while fellow members share their experiences and bond, as the group's Internet-age version of grassroots democracy takes root and flourishes in cyberspace and on the streets.
The clout of "Overpasses for Obama's Impeachment" is growing so fast, Press Secretary Jennifer Hitt told WND, "We would like to get to the point we can help fund a 2016 candidate. The movement started with the main Facebook page, grew to the state Facebook pages, and now we are trying to get most people to register on our state forums on the website, Overpasses.org."
Hitt said the buzz isn't limited to one area: "It's nationwide. The energy is crazy high."
Members of Congress may think impeaching Obama is an impossible dream, but sentiment to oust the president appears to be rapidly gaining momentum across the nation.
As WND reported, just a little more than a week ago, Rep. Blake Farenthold, R-Texas, said he believes there are enough votes in the House to impeach President Obama, but he fears such an effort would be futile because of the Democratic Party's grip on the Senate.
However, the mood of the country may be shifting after a relentless parade of Obama administration scandals, a number of severe setbacks to the president's signature health care law that is now more unpopular than ever, an economy still refusing to recover after five years and a foreign policy that has a good portion of the Middle East either in turmoil or at war.
That mood could be evidenced in the great interest in, and huge advance sales for, WND's latest book, "Impeachable Offenses: The Case for Removing Barack Obama from Office."
Buzzfeed Politics declared, "It’s not just overpasses anymore," and the "book ushers in the Obama Impeachment movement."
"Impeachable Offenses," published by WND Books, has already gone into its third printing, co-author Aaron Klein said, “due to unexpected demand from bookstores.”
“Clearly a large segment of the population is concerned Obama has overstepped his executive authority and has used his office to circumvent Congress to change, ignore, or at times perhaps invent de facto law," he added.
WND Books CEO Joseph Farah told Buzzfeed, "We knew this was going to be a popular book. What we didn’t realize is that retailers would recognize it in advance and place large orders before the public weighed in."
The impeachment passion has been evident in growing numbers on the streets of America in recent weeks.
"Overpasses to Impeach Obama" has gone from local protests to nationwide events. The first "National Patriot Wave" was held Aug. 6, with rallies in more than 300 American cities and towns. "National Patriot Wave II" on Aug. 17 had planned for rallies in all 50 states.
Hitt said, "We refer to our national rallies as the Patriot Wave because it starts early on the east coast and spreads west (like a wave)."
She said up until then, cities held their own local rallies.
James Neighbors started the movement in Oklahoma after seeing footage of police shut down an anti-Obama overpass rally in San Diego.
In addition to the national website and the state Facebook pages, the group also has a national Twitter account @OverpassesUSA.
"I am also encouraging every member to give their info to two or three other people to make sure we can all keep in touch," said Hitt, concerned what would happen should their social media accounts close for some reason.
What the protesters do is simple but effective. They merely gather on highway overpasses and wave signs calling for the impeachment of Obama or urging drivers to "honk to impeach." The tactics attract attention, both from drivers and the media.
Their national website's mission statement says "Overpasses for Obama’s Impeachment has a simple goal. The removal of the corrupt and criminal President of the United States of America, Barack Hussein Obama."
It lists 12 reasons for his removal, including abdicating "his responsibility to enforce the laws of the United States against illegal immigration,"  failing to enforce and defend laws adopted by Congress such as the Defense of Marriage Act and for taking the nation to war against Libya "without the consent of the Congress of the United States."
The "Overpasses for Obama's Impeachment" movement has taken off by itself without much input from established groups such as the many tea parties around the country.
WND contacted a number of tea-party groups around the nation. Their reaction was typified by Chris Lawton of the tea party in Spartanburg, S.C., who said the movement "kind of snuck up on us," but now members are becoming involved.
Hitt said, "Most people I encounter are all for our movement. Then again, I live in the country. Our goal is to wake people up, and we are doing just that. Waves, honks and thumbs up way outnumber middle fingers."
All of America is buzzing about impeaching Obama. Now you can order Aaron Klein’s latest blockbuster, “Impeachable Offenses: The Case for removing Barack Obama from Office.” On the IRS harassment of conservative and Christian organizations? Forty-nine percent said they agree that impeachment is appropriate, including 24.4 percent of the Democrats. And on the fishing trip the Obama administration took into AP reporters’ telephone records in search of a security breach that may have been done by his own administration, 48.6 percent said impeachment is appropriate. That included 26.1 percent of the Democrats.

Stop annual government spending orgy

Call it "Christmas in September." Just as children eagerly count down the days until the holiday, government contractors are counting the days until the end of the federal fiscal year on Sept. 30.
While America debates a war in Syria and the federal debt limit, government agencies are putting the final touches on a year-end spending spree. That means big paydays for those who supply information technology, computer equipment and other pricey items. But those big paydays also mean squandered taxpayer dollars as agencies rush to buy what they might not need.
The operative phrase is "spend it or lose it." Here's how it works: In the final weeks of the fiscal year (which runs Oct. 1 to Sept. 30) Washington bureaucrats hastily make purchases and execute contracts to burn through excess funds.
Why? Because if they don't spend their entire budget allotment, congressional appropriators might slash their budgets in subsequent years.
And for every government buyer, plenty of contractors and lobbyists stand ready to help with the spending splurge. Washington trade publications are filled with articles offering advice to businesses that want to hop on the federal spending gravy train by taking advantage of the year-end spending spree.
Spread across hundreds of government agencies, the waste adds up to billions. Big spenders such as the Pentagon drive the annual rush to beat the fiscal deadline.
This summer, as furloughs were set to begin, officials at a Defense Department agency sent an e-mail to colleagues urging them to burn through their budgets. Meeting spending deadlines was "critical in our efforts to (spend) 100% of our available resources this fiscal year," the e-mail said.
The companies that feed on the gusher of cash that still flows from our government are quite open about their activities. "We believe it's going to be a feeding frenzy," Chris Romani, president of Integrity Management Consulting, told Federal News Radio. "We looked at the funding profiles of our target agencies ... and we see that they have a lot of mission needs and a lot of unobligated funds."
The radio station reported in July that "vendors may be rethinking August vacations in order to handle what many expect to be one of the busiest end-of-the-federal fiscal year buying sprees in recent memory."
Though it might be tempting to blame the profligacy of the Bush and Obama administrations, the practice has been common in government spending for decades, earning bipartisan critiques. In fact, "spend it or lose it" came under critical attention from the Government Accountability Office in a 1980 report, 33 years ago. Since then, the problem has grown.
If we are to have any hope of curbing Washington's spending addiction, our elected officials need to reform this wasteful practice. How do we bring accountability to federal agencies? As a starting point, Congress and President Obama should take the following three actions:
--Roll it over. Allowing agencies to roll over uncommitted budget funds to the next fiscal year, without losing the funds, would eliminate the incentive to spend before the Sept. 30 deadline. In fact, the Obama administration offered just such a proposal in 2010, suggesting that agencies be allowed to roll over a portion of their unused budgets, with the remaining portion being committed to deficit reduction. This is a worthy reform that Congress should take up.
--Make it transparent. When it comes to tracking federal agency spending, the reality can be murky. Developing governmentwide standards for online reporting would allow taxpayers and watchdogs to track agency budgets and foster greater accountability. The House of Representatives passed legislation in the last Congress to do just that, but the White House and Senate opposed it. That leaves online reporting at USASpending.gov without the high quality, consistent data that would expose spending problems.
--Increase oversight. Inspectors general in federal agencies are important guarantors of accountability. Unfortunately, the Obama administration has been slow to fill these crucial watchdog positions. In at least five federal departments -- including some of the largest Cabinet agencies -- the IG post was vacant 18 months to more than five years. Despite recent nominations to oversee State and Defense, other agencies still lack a permanent IG or even a pending nominee to fill the post. The president should make a priority of filling these posts.
With a national debt of $17 trillion and sluggish economic growth, the fiscal picture for the United States looks grim. And as the administration and federal agencies raise the alarm over sequester-related worker furloughs, they turn a blind eye to the wasteful spending right in front of them -- or worse, encourage it. That's why it's important that Washington act to restore a sense of accountability and responsibility to the stewardship of taxpayer dollars.
Putting a stop to this broken way of budgeting by ending "spend it or lose it" is an excellent place to start.

El camino a la compra de un vehículo en Cuba es una larga y sinuosa autopista llena de procesos burocráticos complejos, enredados y caros.
La Odisea se inicia con "La Carta", una autorización del gobierno para que el concesionario pueda venderles uno con 100.000 km rodados.
Para obtener "La Carta", un cubano deberá demostrar que tuvo suficientes ingresos en divisas, para lo cual necesita otra carta del banco certificándolo. Los campesinos, los trabajadores por cuenta propia y la mayoría de los médicos quedan excluidos aunque demuestren solvencia.
Sin embargo, desde abril el gobierno cubano ha dejado de vender automóviles a los ciudadanos autorizados a comprarlos por razones que no han sido explicadas. Pero como consecuencia se cerró el único mecanismo por el cual un cubano podía adquirir un vehículo usado-moderno.
La otra opción es comprarle a un particular, para lo que hace dos años se eliminó el requisito de la "Carta". Sin embargo, ese mercado no resulta muy atractivo porque se venden fundamentalmente autos de los años 40 o 50.
Para evitar que los ciudadanos logren saltarse las prohibiciones, las autoridades se han inventado matriculas diferentes, creando mercados estancos en los que un diplomático no puede vender su auto a un periodista, ni éste a una empresa extranjera y ninguno de ellos a un cubano.
"¿Por qué los cubanos…?"
Miles de cubanos -músicos, marinos mercantes, diplomáticos, artistas, etc.- poseedores de "La Carta" están muy preocupados porque se dejó de vender automóviles sin explicar por qué. El temor radica en que el documento solo tiene dos años de vida burocráticamente útil.
"Es un misterio por qué un músico de salsa puede tener "La Carta" y un campesino no, aunque este último demuestre mayores ingresos legales. O por qué los extranjeros residentes solo podrán comprar 2 automóviles durante toda su estancia, dure ésta 1 mes o 50 años"
El cantautor Erick Sánchez es uno de ellos y me cuenta que tendrá que reiniciar todos los tramites porque su Carta "es la número 1088, ya tiene un añito y pico largo, se vence el 1º de febrero de 2014. Desde el 27 de abril no venden nada y además no dan ninguna explicación".
Pero aunque Erick no lo crea, él es un privilegiado: ya tiene el documento en sus manos. Daniel Silva nos cuenta la historia de un "científico prominente", que presentó la solicitud hace un año y aún no le dan su "Carta" a pesar de que "el Ministerio de Transporte tenía 60 días hábiles para emitirla".
Una vez que tienen "La Carta", los cubanos van a una empresa del Estado, donde llegan los automóviles que han sido dados de baja por las agencias de alquiler para turistas, también estatales. Allí compran uno de los que esté a la venta cuando les llegue su turno, teniendo en cuenta que los mejores se reservan para los que dan "propinas".
Nadie responde cuando el curador de arte Jorge Gómez se pregunta: "¿Por qué los cubanos no podemos ir a una agencia y comprarnos un auto, nuevo o de segunda mano?, ¿por qué necesitamos permisos, cartas, trámites absurdos e innecesarios emitidos por burócratas que sí tienen auto?".
Unos sí, otros no
Durante décadas un cubano sólo podía acceder al "carro" por méritos extraordinarios o si le llegaba adosado al cargo. La venta de automóviles estaba prohibida, por lo que estas se realizaban solo de palabra, sin cambiar en los papeles el nombre del propietario.
La prohibición de comprar automóviles obliga a muchos cubanos a "remotorizar" sus vehículos para añadirles vida útil.
Cuando el gobierno de Raúl Castro autorizó la compraventa entre cubanos sin "Carta", muchos aprovecharon para legalizar las transacciones que se hicieron durante la prohibición. Sin embargo, el apetito por vehículos sigue siendo más grande que la oferta disponible.
El tema es tan sensible que hace dos años le costó el cargo al Ministro del Transporte cuando este autorizó la importación a particulares. Los recientes cambios en el manejo del tema mantienen la mayoría de las limitantes e incorporaron algunas nuevas.
Es un misterio por qué un músico de salsa puede tener "La Carta" y un campesino no, aunque este último demuestre mayores ingresos legales. O por qué los extranjeros residentes solo podrán comprar dos automóviles durante toda su estancia, dure ésta un mes o 50 años.
También está prohibido realizar transacciones cruzadas entre extranjeros, periodistas, cubanos o empresas foráneas, con lo que el mismo automóvil adquiere precios que oscilan desde US$4.000 hasta US$30.000, dependiendo del mercado en que se venda.
No es un chiste
El asunto ha despertado la hilaridad del humorista Luis Silva, quien escribió una invitación al cumpleaños de su "Carta". No le costó mucho trabajo, se limitó a describir una realidad macondiana que no necesita exagerarse para hacer reír a los cubanos.Las agencias de venta de autos instaladas en Cuba están a la espera de que se autorice a todos los cubanos a comprar carros.
La gran demora se debe a que hay miles de "Cartas" y solo aparecían 200 autos por semana, además algunos se saltaban la cola con "propinas" de US$500 a los empleados del concesionario. Ese problema sí está resuelto: ya no le venden vehículos a nadie.
El que tuvo la suerte de comprar un carro moderno-usado y aún tiene dinero lo "remotoriza". En las mismas empresas estatales por US$ 4000 aparece un motor diesel en buen estado y con otros US$1.000 de "propina" se puede aspirar a uno 0 ikm, sin hacer la cola.
Los concesionarios de Peugeot, Mercedes Benz o Fiat esperan pacientes a que un día la totalidad de la población tenga derecho a comprar vehículos pero por ahora solo les permiten vender a empresas del Estado, extranjeras o algunos autorizados "muy especiales".
El comercio automotriz en Cuba sigue sumido en el caos, el mercado negro, las ilegalidades, la corrupción, la injusticia, la desigualdad de derechos entre los ciudadanos y la especulación. Parecen los efectos lógicos de tantas prohibiciones inexplicables e inexplicadas.

La verdadera amenaza terrorista en EE.UU. desde el 11 de septiembre

(CNN) – Estamos a punto de llegar a los doce años desde que ocurrieron los ataques terroristas del 11 de septiembre. Desde entonces, al Qaeda y sus grupos afiliados no han lanzado un ataque exitoso en Estados Unidos.
Sin embargo, las bombas en la Maratón de Boston, ocurridos en abril, son un recordatorio de que Estados Unidos todavía enfrenta una amenaza de terrorismo por parte de ciudadanos estadounidenses y residentes insatisfechos que son influenciados por la ideología de al Qaeda.
¿Cuál es el estado de este tipo de amenazas?
La buena noticia es que el número de extremistas yihadistas “locales”, quienes han sido acusados y condenados, ha disminuido a un ritmo constante durante los últimos años, según datos de New American Foundation Mientras hubo 41 casos en el 2009, ha habido 6 en lo que va de este año.
El número de individuos acusados de planear atentados reales dentro de Estados Unidos (en lugar de otros crímenes relacionados al terrorismo, como recaudar dinero para un grupo terrorista) también disminuyó de 12 en el 2011 a sólo tres en lo que va del 2013.
En años recientes, los extremistas que planean atentados en contra de Estados Unidos también han mostrado pocas, si es que algunas, conexiones con grupos extranjeros. Se desconoce que alguno de los 21 extremistas locales involucrados en ataques en contra de Estados Unidos desde el 2011 hasta ahora en el 2013 haya recibido entrenamiento en el extranjero.
De estos extremistas, sólo uno, Tamerlan Tsarnaev, uno de los presuntos involucrados en los bombardeos de Boston, ha tenido contacto, según informes, con operativos militantes extranjeros. Sin embargo, todavía no está claro a qué grado, si es que fue el caso, dichos contactos jugaron un papel en el ataque de Boston.
Esta falta de coordinación entre extremistas internos y grupos extranjeros probablemente es el resultado de dos factores. Primero, la habilidad que las organizaciones terroristas tienen para coordinarse con extremistas en Estados Unidos se ha reducido a través del esfuerzos de control dentro del país, y de operaciones antiterrorismo en el extranjero.
Segundo, el uso de Internet entre extremistas yihadistas les permite estar en contacto con comunidades de extremistas en el extranjero, y ser radicalizados sin tener encuentros cara a cara.
De los 45 extremistas yihadistas "locales" que fueron acusados, condenados o que murieron desde el 2011 a la fecha, se sabe que 18 de ellos se comunicaron con otros extremistas por Internet, o que publicaron material relacionado a su radicalización en línea.
El cambio a la planeación por parte de individuos que carecen de vínculos con grupos extranjeros supone una amenaza distinta: atentados y ataques que son más difíciles de detectar, pero que probablemente son de menor escala. Y debido a las medidas que ahora están en vigor para prevenir la adquisición de precursores químicos y materiales adecuados para fabricar explosivos convencionales, los extremistas locales también a menudo han luchado por producir bombas efectivas.
Antes de los bombardeos de la Maratón de Boston, los yihadistas locales en Estados Unidos habían mostrado no tener éxito al producir explosivos. Joseph Jeffrey Brice, quien ha manifestado su admiración por Osama bin Laden y por el responsable de los bombardeos de Oklahoma City, Timothy McVeigh, casi muere en abril de 2010, cuando una bomba que estaba fabricando explotó antes de tiempo.
Un mes después, el coche bomba de Faisal Shahzad no logró explotar en Times Square, a pesar de que él había recibido entrenamiento en explosivos en Pakistán. Si los hermanos Tsarnaev fabricaron las bombas utilizadas en el ataque en Boston sin orientación de yihadistas en el extranjero, eso sugiere que las dificultades que otros militantes "locales" han tenido para construir o detonar explosivos pueden haber sido superadas. Por otro lado, el éxito de los Tsarnaevs tuvieron en la fabricación de las bobas pudo, fácilmente, haber sido una casualidad.
Mientras el número de acusaciones relacionadas al terrorismo disminuyó entre el 2009 y el 2013, el número de incidentes terroristas ha permanecido igual -más o menos uno por año- aunque no todos han resultado letales:
– En junio del 2009, Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammad mató a un soldado en las afueras de una estación de reclutamiento en Little Rock, Arkansas.
– Cinco meses después, el Comandante Nidal Malik Hasan le disparó y mató a 13 personas en Fort Hood en Killeen, Texas.
– En el 2010, el intento de Shahzad de colocar una bomba en Times Square fracasó cuando la bomba no se encendió correctamente.
– El tiroteo desde un vehículo por parte de Yonathan Melaku en instalaciones militares al norte de Virginia en el 2011 no ocasionó muertes.
– Los responsables de los bombardeos en la Maratón de Boston mataron a cuatro e hirieron a cientos de otros en abril del 2013.
Los incidentes ocasionados por extremistas locales continúan estando limitados en cuanto a su letalidad, y las operaciones más serias como los ataques del 11 de septiembre están muy por encima de las habilidades de incluso los extremistas internos más capaces.
Además, se desconoce que algún militante yihadista local en Estados Unidos haya adquirido o usado armas químicas, biológicas, radiológicas o nucleares (CBRN, por sus siglas en inglés), durante los últimos doce años. Vale la pena repetir este punto, ya que ha habido demasiados comentarios en cuanto a este tema durante la última década. De los 221 casos individuales de extremismo yihadista desde el 11 de septiembre, ningún caso involucró una acusación de adquisición de armas CBRN, ni de su fabricación o uso.
Sin embargo, el hecho de los extremistas yihadistas en Estados Unidos no han mostrado interés en las armas CBRN no elimina la necesidad de asegurar las posibles fuentes de agentes químicos, biológicos y radiológicos.
Según un conteo de New America Foundation, desde el 2001, 13 extremistas motivados por ideologías de derecha, un militante de izquierda y dos individuos con motivos idiosincráticos han desplegado, adquirido o tratado de adquirir armas químicas, biológicas o radiológicas.
Por ejemplo, William Krar y Judith Bruey, dos extremistas anti-gobierno, tuvieron bajo su posesión precursores químicos para el cianuro de hidrógeno, el cual discutieron utilizar a través del sistema de ventilación del edificio. Fueron arrestados en el 2003 y más tarde se declararon culpables.
La amenaza de extremistas locales al territorio de Estados Unidos ha sido controlada en los últimos años por varias medidas de seguridad. Según información recogida por New American Foundation, los familiares de extremistas y miembros de la amplia comunidad musulmana en Estados Unidos proveyó información útil en las investigaciones de más o menos un tercio de los extremistas yihadistas locales acusados o que han muerto desde el 11 de septiembre.
Miembros que no son parte de la comunidad brindaron informes útiles de actividad sospechosa en otro 9% de los casos de extremistas locales, mientras un informante o agente encubierto monitoreaba casi a la mitad de todos los extremistas locales.
Sin embargo, los bombardeos en la Maratón de Boston demuestran cuál es el potencial para que estas medidas de seguridad fallen cuando los atacantes tienen pocas, si es que tienen algunas conexiones, con grupos terroristas conocidos.
Viendo hacia adelante, una preocupación respeto al ataque en Boston es si representa un fracaso en la inteligencia que pudiera haber sido evitado por medio de una mejor implementación de las políticas existentes, o una nueva tendencia donde el extremismo del "lobo solitario" es altamente indetectable con los actuales revisiones sistemáticas que están en vigor.
La amenaza de extremistas locales ha cambiado substancialmente en los últimos tres años; se ha convertido en el terreno de menos individuos que están menos conectados con grupos extranjeros en comparación a otro tiempo, cuando sí era el caso.
Si esta situación se mantiene o no, dependerá de que las fuerzas de la ley puedan adaptarse de manera exitosa para confrontar la amenaza de individuos insatisfechos que residen en Estados Unidos y que son motivados por la ideología de al Qaeda. Además, también dependerá de que se pueda mantener los logros de los esfuerzos antiterrorismo contra al Qaeda en el exterior.

Gingrich: Christie Drives Conservatives 'Nuts'; Still Has Shot at White House

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich tells Newsmax TV that while there are aspects of New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie that drive conservatives “nuts,” a landslide re-election win would place him squarely among the dozen or so Republican candidates who deserve a shot at the 2016 GOP nomination.

“Here's a guy who is aggressive, abrasive — takes things head on. In some ways if you're an anti-government conservative, there are aspects of Christie you really like. In other ways if you're a traditional . . . conservative, there are aspects of Christie that drive you nuts,” asserted Gingrich in an exclusive interview on Tuesday at his home in Virginia.

Even so, Gingrich, who made his own run for the White House in 2012, said that Christie could emerge as one of the dozen or so governors and senators “when the dance starts” for the Republican nomination.

“If he emerges and he's going to have a big victory this fall in New Jersey — the kind of victory that's historic,” said Gingrich. “You don't think of Republicans taking a state like that, doing the things he's done, taking on the unions the way he did, and then winning a big landslide re-election.”

Gingrich is featured on a new version of the classic “Crossfire” program that debuted Monday on CNN. He is joined by conservative pundit S.E. Cupp, former Obama green jobs czar Van Jones, and Stephanie Cutter, Obama's former deputy campaign chair.

“If he emerges and he's going to have a big victory this fall in New Jersey — the kind of victory that's historic — you don't think of Republicans taking a state like that, doing the things he's done, taking on the unions the way he did, and then winning a big landslide re-election,” Gingrich added of Christie. “If he can pull that off, he clearly has the credentials to be one of 10 or 12 candidates and governors.”

Gingrich also pointed to Ohio Gov. John Kasich, Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, and Texas Gov. Rick Perry as “very formidable” candidates if they choose to run.

Despite Perry’s well publicized gaffes during the 2012 campaign, Gingrich said he “probably will run again and be much more formidable than people expect.”

Whoever emerges from the nomination process on the Republican side will probably have to take on former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, according to Gingrich, but that doesn’t rule out the possibility that someone else may best Clinton as President Obama did in 2008.

“She's clearly the frontrunner. She may even be the prohibitive frontrunner,” he explained. “But you take things like this fight. I mean here's someone who was for the Iraq War — and that was after all what Obama used to beat her. Now she is for the president in Syria. Well, she's in a country where 85 percent of the country doesn't agree so she's beginning to create a space for somebody new to emerge to say ‘she's a terrific person but she's the old order. We need somebody new.’”

Gingrich pointed to Clinton’s “natural caution” and the “inability of the Clintons to go away for a little while” as weaknesses.

“Somebody once said, if you don’t' leave you can't come back. And to some extent the Clintons find it very hard to get off stage long enough to be fresh when they return,” Gingrich observed.

When historians look back on the Obama presidency, Gingrich predicts that the president may not fare too well in the annals of the American presidency.

“I would say that he is likely to leave a wrecked economy, a wrecked healthcare system, and potentially a wrecked foreign policy. We're seeing in a sense all of the bad policies coming home to roost,” Gingrich explained.

“If that happens, he'll rank somewhere between Jimmy Carter and Jay Buchanan. Buchanan is clearly the worst president in American history. Carter is significantly less bad than Buchanan, but pretty bad, and it's conceivable another year or two of this floundering and you could have him rank below Carter in terms of just being ineffective.”

Sen. Rand Paul was among the first guests to appear on “Crossfire” and Gingrich views the Kentuckian’s popularity as a reflection of a broader struggle taking place in society.

“It's partly libertarian and partly populist, anti-establishment,” he said, pointing to the split within the GOP over the question of authorizing U.S. military involvement in Syria.

“It’s very dangerous for traditional analysts to try to take a (Sen.) Ted Cruz or a Rand Paul or a Mike Lee (from Utah) and put them into just an ideology framework. They also exist in a psychological framework,” according to Gingrich. “They are the early warning signals of being totally fed up with the traditional Washington establishment and they don't get any of their rewards from the old order.”

He said that Paul, Cruz, and Lee don’t play traditional politics.

“Their rewards are all from people who represent the outside and who are looking at changing things, not at accommodating things,” he said. “Speaker Rayburn used to say, ‘you go along to get along.’ These guys aren't trying to get along; these guys want to in fact change the system, even if that makes some of the senior members very uncomfortable.’”

Gingrich, who has been critical of the lack of alternatives to Obamacare, said that the president’s signature healthcare law may be responsible in part for a surge in the number of physicians in Congress.

“It's almost like big government has actually driven doctors into politics to protect their profession,” he said. “So we have guys who each of whom is adding a piece to this puzzle, but we haven't had the kind of systematic effort to bring it together into a single bill and then to really make that bill what Jack Kemp did with supply-side economics and three-year tax cuts in the Kemp-Roth bill. And they (Republicans) badly need that.”

¡No más 2020 y no más maldita guerra. ¡Por favor, hablemos de otras cosas! Por ejemplo, dice The Huffington Post que el pasado año se pincharon más de 300.000 páginas porno de Internet desde el Parlamento británico (me encantaría saber cuántas visitan los diputados españoles). Que sus señorías dediquen el tiempo laboral a esas tontadas resulta irritante, pero el dato es revelador del alto consumo e influjo social de la pornografía. En el vestuario de mi gimnasio pude comprobar una realidad flipan te: que la gran mayoría de las chicas llevan sus partes (las partes más partes, ya me entienden) completamente depiladas. Una práctica dolorosa, cara y un tanto rechinante, porque disfraza a las mujeres de niñas pre púberes. Lo cual me recordó el libro Cómo ser mujer, de Caitlin Moran, en el que la autora (36 años) se queja de esta tiránica moda de los bajos pelados, y con ingenio lo achaca a que las nuevas generaciones han conocido el sexo a través de los vídeos porno, y que ahí las mujeres van afeitadas para que en los primeros planos se vea todo mejor (también los actores porno se depilan, y por eso muchos chicos se arrancan hasta el último vello). Tiene razón Moran, y la realidad es aún peor. Hace años que los adolescentes se educan sexualmente con los pechos postizos y deformes de las Pamelas Anderson, así que ahora a los jóvenes quizá les pongan más unas horrendas pechugas de hormigón, de esas que siempre quedan tiesas, que un bonito pecho natural. Antes el sexo estaba más reprimido, pero al menos se tocaba carne verdadera y se aprendía por prueba y error de la experiencia. Hoy el modelo de calentón es una industria porno artificial y absurda, con gemidos de vicetiple e improbables posturas. En fin, no digo que haya que ir como osos, pero quizá cierta rebelión capilar ante la obligada moda de afeitarse tanto pudiera incrementar la libertad y la gloria del cuerpo
