La vida no es fácil ni justa, esto lo sabe todo el que la está
viviendo todavía. Pero la otra alternativa no creo que la quiera
nadie, todo el mundo quiere seguir viviendo.
Alguien que debe de tener hoy una sensación de la injusticia de la
vida es Joe Wilson.
En el discurso del Estado de la Unión, igual que el que dirá Obama
esta noche, el 9 de Septiembre del año 2009, el
presidente habló de la cobertura de salud bajo el entonces incipiente Obamacare
y sus maravillas, a la vez que acusaba de que los ataques de los que se oponían
eran falsedades. O sea que estaba diciendo mentirosos a los que
estaban en lugar que se oponían a la ley. En este punto, el representante
republicano de Carolina del sur Joe Wilson gritó "¡Usted miente!",
interrumpiendo brevemente el discurso.
En los próximos días Wilson fue la
persona más vilipendiada de la nación, quizás del mundo. Tanto Demócratas como
Republicanos incluyendo a John McCain lo censuraron violentamente por haber
faltado el respeto a la oficina de la presidencia. Wilson después
emitió un comunicado disculpándose por su exabrupto diciendo que se había
dejado llevar por sus emociones. El 15 de septiembre, el Congreso aprobó una
"resolución de desaprobación" contra Wilson, en una votación
partidista 240-179
Pero la vida no es justa, aunque ser víctima de
la injusticia es triste. Es triste el ser condenado por todos por
decir una verdad evidente que después se ha comprobado hasta la saciedad.
Pero hay un consuelo, la aprobación que vale es
la del pueblo, y Wilson fue re-electo en el 2010 por un margen confortable de
un 9% y después fue re-electo sin oposición en el 2012 con el 96% de los votos.
Wilson tuvo la aprobación de lo que importa que
es su pueblo.
Pero el precedente hará que nadie le diga a Obama
que nos está mintiendo otra vez esta noche, todo tendrán miedo que lo censuren
hasta los de su propio partido, y Obama seguirá mintiéndonos. ¿Hasta cuándo?

As
undignified as it is unedifying and unnecessary, the vulgar State of the Union
circus is again at our throats. The document that the Constitutional Convention
sent forth from Philadelphia for ratification in 1787 was just 4,543 words long, but this
was 17 too many. America would be a sweeter place if the Framers had not
included this laconic provision pertaining to the president: “He shall from
time to time give to the Congress information of the state of the union.”
“Information”? Not exactly.
The
Constitution’s mild requirement has become a tiresome exercise in political exhibitionism, the most
execrable ceremony in the nation’s civic liturgy, regardless of which party’s
president is abusing it. You worship bipartisanship? There is not a dime’s
worth of difference between the ways the parties try to milk partisan advantage
from this made-for-television political pep rally.
Tuesday
evening, Barack Obama probably will concentrate on inequality as a way of
changing the subject from his inconvenient triumph, the Affordable Care Act. So he
probably will again propose partial public financing of Democratic candidates’
campaigns, by again calling for “high-quality” universal preschool. This
adjectival phrase is code for: Now we will do better because
we will employ more certified — and unionized — teachers.
Studies of
it strongly indicate that the cognitive and other effects of early preschool
are slight and evanescent — gone by the third grade. The few studies of other
state programs that indicate better results have possible methodological
problems explained by George Mason University social scientists David J. Armor
and Sonia Sousa in “The Dubious Promise of Universal Preschool” in
National Affairs quarterly.
Even “high-quality” universal preschool would not
measurably reduce inequality. It would, however, efficiently convey funds from
the federal treasury to a new cohort of unionized teachers, then through union
dues to Democratic candidates.
The president
will probably again propose combating inequality with a 23rd increase (since
1938) of the minimum wage. This would have no measurable effect on
inequality because few heads of household earn the minimum wage and most such
earners are part-time workers from households with an average annual income of
$53,000. Twenty percent are from households making $75,000 or more.
Obama
probably also will urge measures to increase college enrollments. For several
decades, both parties simply knew that not enough people
owned homes. So federal policy — mortgage subsidies, lower lending standards —
encouraged more homeownership than market rationality would have produced. One
exciting result was the Great Recession. Now the federal government, which
simply knows that
not enough people are getting college degrees, has fueled a bubble in higher
education by funneling billions in subsidies for student tuition aid. To the
surprise of no one, except the government, schools have responded by raising
their prices — they are up 23 percentsince
Obama’s first election — to capture the subsidies.
The Center
for College Affordability and Productivity (“Why
Are Recent College Graduates Underemployed? University Enrollments and
Labor-Market Realities”) reports that about 48 percent of
those college graduates who are employed are occupying jobs that the Bureau of
Labor Statistics suggests require less than a four-year college education.
Thirty-seven percent are in jobs that require no more than a high-school
diploma, and about 5 million are in jobs that require less than a high-school
education. About 14 percent of waiters and waitresses, 16.5 percent of
bartenders, 18 percent of telemarketers, 14.5 percent of
counter and sales clerks and 24.6 percent of
other retail salespeople have college degrees.
These details probably will not be information that
Obama gives to Congress on Tuesday evening, when legislators from the
president’s party will bray approval of his bromides and stillborn panaceas,
legislators from the other party will be histrionically torpid or sullen and
some moral exemplars in the House gallery will be applauded.
In 2010, Chief Justice John Roberts said: “The image of having the members of one
branch of government standing up, literally surrounding the Supreme Court,
cheering and hollering while the court — according to the requirements of
protocol — has to sit there expressionless, I think is very troubling.”
Justice
Antonin Scalia no longer attends what he calls “cheerleading sessions.” Justice
Clarence Thomas, who says “there’s a lot that you don’t hear
on TV — the catcalls, the whooping and hollering and under-the-breath
comments,” will not be there Tuesday night. Will Roberts attend? No justices or
senior military officers should stoop to being props at these puerile
spectacles.

Boehner Will Unveil A Proposal To Grant Amnesty To 11-12 Million Illegal Aliens

You've already heard the news, but what you probably haven't heard is that opposition to Boehner's Amnesty scheme within the Republican caucus is starting to mount rapidly and grassroots pressure from patriotic American, like you, can stop this Boehner Amnesty scheme dead in its tracks.

Barack Obama has already jumped on Mr. Boehner's capitulation to his radical Amnesty agenda.
Within days of word getting out that Boehner was on board with Amnesty, Barack Obama's Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson suddenly upped the ante and proclaimed that the approximately 11 million people who are in the country illegally have "earned the right to be citizens."
You read that right, if you want to earn the "right" to be a citizen of the United States, all you have to do is violate our laws.
And the very second, Boehner announced his willingness to capitulate, Team Obama started working on the next capitulation.
But we shouldn't be shocked. Barack Obama has been using his pen and his phone to violate the laws that he is sworn to enforce for years.
Case in point, Breitbart reports that a Syracuse University study indicates that deportation cases that are being closed due to"prosecutorial discretion" is up by over 70 percent.
In plain English, that means that the Obama Regime is choosing NOTto prosecute greater and greater numbers of illegal aliens for no apparent reason.
Considering Mr. Obama's lawlessness when it comes to enforcing our nation's immigration laws, Boehner's Amnesty capitulation is a spit-in-the-face to patriotic Americans and it's time to let our elected officials know exactly how you feel.
Betrayal
Was Always The Name Of The Game.
But if you're thinking that Mr. Boehner is simply capitulating to Barack Obama... think again. In spite of his statements to the contrary, an Amnesty betrayal was always in the works.
According to TheBlaze, Republican leaders in the House "have all been working with Boehner behind closed doors on the principles since last year..."
And Erick Erickson with RedState even went so far as to say that Boehner was simply keeping his powder dry to ward off potential primary challengers from running against Republican incumbents:
"The threat of primary challenges well passed, they'll get their amnesty deal done. ... Republicans are so convinced you will turn out and vote for them in 2014 to spite Obama, they are perfectly happy to screw you over in this fight knowing how cheap a date the conservative movement has become."
At the same time, Breitbart reported: "A new report from the Texas-based Quorum Report, published by longtime Texas journalist Harvey Kronberg, says that House Speaker John Boehner plans to push amnesty legislation through the House, after the primary filing deadline for candidates. The move would prevent Tea Party from challenging GOP lawmakers who support amnesty in 2014."
But if you're feeling discouraged... don't let the scheming betrayals get you down. If Erickson and others are right - and we believe that these assessments are is correct - keep in mind that Boehner and Republican leaders only kept their powder dry because they fear your wrath.
And make no mistake, at this very moment, Republican leaders are only moving forward because they're UNDER THE FALSE IMPRESSION THAT PATRIOTIC AMERICANS LIKE YOU YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IS GOING ON.
That's why we must disabuse them of their delusional notions, right here and right now. They may believe that the fix is in, but the righteous outrage of patriotic Americans will thwart their plans to grant Amnesty to 11-12 million illegal aliens.

Ahora está de moda del problema de la igualdad, Obama no sólo habla de
eso, y esto es algo que para mí toda mi vida ha sido algo que me ha
molestado y me ha preocupado.
Mi molestia con la percepción de la desigualdad socio-económica surge
desde Cuba. Mi posición económica en Cuba, en la economía paralela
de Estados Unidos hubiera sido considerada como clase media baja, más cuando mi
posición económica dependía de mi padre que era el dueño del negocio donde yo
trabajaba. Pero como vivía en un pueblo relativamente pequeño, muchos
consideraban mi posición como de un estrato económico superior, muchos me
acusaban del delito de ser "rico", un ente despreciable de la
desigualdad social...
La desigualdad como la he visto en mi vida se reduce no tanto a la
posición económica como a los sentimientos.
La meta principal no es que los pobres vivan mejor pero que se sientan
mejor porque los ricos van a bajar a su nivel, castigar al rico.
El problema en la Cuba que era bastante rica y más en los Estados
Unidos donde los pobres viven mejor que los ricos de otros países no es
realmente un problema de desigualdad económica como de desigualdad social.
Preocuparse por esta igualdad social se encuentra
en la raíz de nuestra preocupación falsa de igualdad
económica. Porque todos sabemos que la igualdad económica es
imposible de alcanzar, sin embargo la igualdad social si pudiera ser controlada
si se pudiera controlar la envidia..
El igualitarismo social es más preocupante que las diferencias en
cuánto gana la gente.
Eso siempre me ha parecido una combinación de envidia con complejo de
inferioridad.
Fue el igualitarismo social lo que generó la envidia clasista que fue
el motor generador que utilizó Fidel Castro para implantar el comunismo.
El problema con la nueva guerra de los demócratas en la desigualdad
("el desafío definitorio de nuestra época," como dice el Presidente
Obama) es que hay dos clases de creciente desigualdad — y los demócratas están
atacando a la desigualdad equivocada.
Mañana vamos a oír a Obama hablar de la igualdad en el Estado de la
Unión.
Los Demócratas no proponen nada que se acerque a revertir
la esta tendencia de la desigualdad económica que es algo que existe
y existirá en todas las sociedades, sin embargo están aumentando
progresivamente la desigualdad social..
Aumentar el salario mínimo sólo afecta a una franja del mercado
laboral. Simplemente afecta a la clase gastronómicas o trabajadores de
escala baja de las factorías. Los trabajadores de otros estratos laborales
ganan más que el salario mínimo que se está proponiendo.
Pero lo que logrará conjuntamente con el Obamacare es el aumento del
desempleo. Lo mismo ocurre para la ampliación de compensación por desempleo que
lo que logrará la dependencia de la compensación y aumento del desempleo.
Incluso los aumentos de impuestos de. Obama tienen un bache.
Sobre el papel acortará los ingresos de los estadounidenses muy ricos en un 6%
— pero los ricos encuentran formas de evitarlos. Es la clase media con la
supresión de la rebaja de Bush la que sufrirá las consecuencias. Y
hay que recordar que los pequeños negocios son los que producen empleos, los
muy ricos por lo regular no producen tantos empleos.
Un plan mejor es preguntar por qué nos preocupamos por la desigualdad
económica es preguntarse todos modos. ¿Si los pobres y la clase media fueron
haciendo progresivamente más ricos, importaría que los ricos se están haciendo
más ricos mucho más rápido?
Por ejemplo, podemos, honrar la virtud universal del trabajo por lo

Miami-Dade
County in a property tax increase spiral . Every property owner and yes renter
will feel the tax burden come when next year budget is crafted. Small business
and others will also feel the property tax pain.
I will enumerate the issues and you decide . My writing is accurate and the reader can easily verify it using written articles of the past by local new media and or Miami-Dade County Commission meetings.
1. Miami-Dade County voter approved recently a very large bond package for Miami-Dade County Public Schools in the billions of dollars. This will translate into higher taxes against all properties. The bonds need to be retied at maturity and interest also needs to be paid. Money must start to be accumulated to retire the debt.
2. Miami-Dade County voter approved a 700 million dollars bond for the Jackson Hospital. The bond issue is to be paid by a property tax increase . In order to retire the debt approved by the voters additional property tax must start being collected.
3. Miami-Dade County Commission has been trying since 2013 to provide the county employee work force with free healthcare. That is, all county employees will not pay a monthly fee/deduction for their healthcare benefits. The cost of this benefit if approved I have read comes at a cost of 54 million dollars.
4. Maimi-Dade County is also negotiating new union contracts that will exacerbate the property tax base with another possibly property tax increase. While property value has gone up and will create an automatic tax increase to all properties the generated property value increase will probably will not be enough to offset the size of the salary/benefits increase to all county employees. Why one may ask. The cost of many services provided by the County goes up as well every year due to inflation and new cost of labor. Not to mention new services or programs approved by the Miami-Dade County Commission.
5. There is another property tax increase floating that has not gone into effect to my understanding. That is the “cats and dog” animal life protection . I will mention again that this new property tax increase was also approved by the Miami-Dade County voter.
Also other items that will add to exacerbate all of the above property tax issues.
The Affordable Care Acts begins taking it effects this year. Many have not seen an increase for their healthcare benefits. But some will. People working for Walgreen, Targets and others small businesses are dropping their traditional paid healthcare benefits. UPS is dropping spouses from the their traditional healthcare plans. Also many people will have to deal with very large deductibles before their visit to the doctor is covered. Not to mention high co-payment for specialist . This include the traditional medicare where deductibles for hospitals and doctor visits when up as well.
Property taxes will automatically increased due to the increase in property value through its normal process. This property tax increase appear to be substantial as property have rebounded strongly in South Florida.
Interest rate for mortgages have gone up already by 0.50 basis points since its’ low. Prepare yourself if you are planning to buy a house as it will cost plenty more.
There is another very large item on the table when it comes to additional property cost for some. There is a new flood insure cost that has yet to be implemented although is already law. The increase as I know it is of the largest ever. So large that if implemented it will cause many in flood areas to sell their houses. Property value with flood insurance are already reflecting the decrease in value in many areas in Florida.
There are lots of new federal taxes also unraveling as well. Such as a new 3.8% for some people in a higher income bracket OR WHEN SELLING A HOME provided is over $250,000.00 in profits. There are many other new taxes but to lengthy and complicated to mention in this email.
Consequence and my educated opinion that should be yours as well if you are well informed.

The US Military Does Have the Legal and Lawful Jurisdiction to Arrest

It is obviously clear. President Obama is a threat not only to the
American people. He is destabilizing the United States every way he
can. He did this paying for Treyvon protest trying to start race wars as one
example. He is a threat to world peace. He has to be neutralized before he
takes the world into an age of war and destruction. Now how can that be done?
Congress can pass all the impeachment bills. The US Senate will not by two
thirds vote him guilty removing him from office. Politically there is very
little that can be done to interpose between Obama and him destroying the
world.
So who will step in and take action to avert a disaster from
happening? The usurper in the White House is the most lawless President
in history that makes Nixon and Clintonlook like choir boys
in comparison. President Obama does not respect the Constitution and
international law. He is waging war against the American people economically
and shredding our Bill of Rights daily.
He is waging war against Christianity on the domestic front attacking
religious freedom by forcing people of conscience to pay for Obamacare the pays
for abortions. He is attacking Christians in the military daring to say the
name of Jesus forcing chaplains to marry homosexuals against the moral
conviction of the clergy. At the same time erecting Pagan places of worship on
military installations. For this matter I call on the Patriots to relieve
officers of duty and command who attack the religious freedom of the men
and women in uniform. I do not care if the commander is a Buddhist and
gay. He must respect and defend all faiths and conscience. If he is willing to
follow an unlawful, immoral order without question that will weaken the
fighting strength. Then the commanders and officers who carry these immoral
orders need to be relieved of command.
President Obama is waging war on Christians in Syria, Egypt and now in
Kenya. He is waging war against Christians world wide. He is a threat to the
faith. He is arming the enemies of Christianity who are murdering unarmed woman
and children. His actions are bringing instability to the world. He does not
regard public opinion at all when it comes to gun control when the people are
buying guns in record numbers and the citizens reluctance to go to war with
Iran and Syria. Obama is a dangerous loose cannon that must be stopped.
First, Obama may be a natural born US Citizen because he was born in
Hawaii. But he renounced his US citizenship becoming an Indonesian citizen
taking on the name Barry Soetoro. His records are sealed where we do not know
his immigration and naturalization records documenting repatriation
or if he is a US citizen. Therefore he might be ineligible to hold office.
Obama by his actions says he is an agent of a foreign power working against the
United States. He is a domestic enemy of the United States.
He is arming Al Qaeda. The same terrorist that killed and maimed
soldiers and Marines in Iraq and Afghanistan. Obama’s half brother is being
funded by the CIA to fund the Muslim brotherhood. Obama’s cousin Odinga is
destabilizing Kenya. Odinga was given advice from Obama when he was a US
Senator on how to cause havoc and destabilize Kenya for political gain.
Now with this massacre in Nairobi Kenya killing Christians in
a Shopping mall. Now there are calls for the TSA to be in Shopping
Malls that are another gun free zone. It would not surprise me if there
are shootings in the malls in the states to further a police state here. Al
Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahri was calling for small scale attacks on US soil.
Al Zawahri is a CIA backed operative who was behind the assassination of
Egyptian President Anwar Sadat. Obama is the head of the Muslim Brotherhood and
backs AL Qaeda therefore must be taken down and brought to justice.
Treason against the United States, shall consist only in
levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and
Comfort.
President Obama is commiting treason daily against the Americans people
waging war every way possible to weaken our republic. He is involved in
insurrection and rebellion against the laws of the Union.
The Senators and Representatives before mentioned, and the members of

That oath does not say to defend unconstitutional laws and illegal
orders. It does not say defend a political agenda or corrupt politicians. It
does not say defend the dictator. If the laws contradict the USMJ and
the Constitution of these United States. The people in the Armed forces are
duty bound not to carry out the order.
We are very unique because our oaths are not to a person. But to the US
Constitution. The people who written the Constitution and requiring an oath of
affirmation to support and defend the Constitution. Not a monarchy. They knew
the British Redcoats were bound to the will of the King. Not to any morals.
They had to follow the decrees of the King without question. We do not
serve a monarchy. We never swore to a dictator. We serve the cause of freedom
defending and preserving our Constitution. Our oath to preserve, protect and
defend out Constitution is a vital check and balance against tyranny and
despotism. The UCMJ requires us to follow lawful orders and not illegal edicts
that goes against the law of the land
President Obama through insurrection is working hard to overthrow the
government ofthe United States. Obama is trying to find an excuse to
declare a national emergency to place the USA under Martial law. He can
announce the President is suspending the Constitution so continuity of
government declaring the President Dictator under PD-51 President Bush singed.
This makes the President a Dictator under any national emergency the chief executive
decides what is and what isn’t . Congress has no say to review. This is
a classified document congress is not allowed to read.
Right now in Benjamin Fulford newsletter he says with much skepticism
from a source inside the Pentagon. General Staff
officers are making a list of 30,000 people who are New World Order thugs
including the President. All to be arrested for treason and insurrection
attempting to overthrow the Constitutional government.
It has been rumored the Provost
Marshal was going to arrest Obama for attempting to detonate a nuclear device
in Washington DC on the 12th Anniversary of Sept 11th. The shooting in the Navy yard could be a
smoke screen of the attempted arrest of Obama for treason. I can tell the
Military is getting ready to act to defend this nation. When Secretary of State
John Kerry signed the UN Small Arms Trade Treaty. That was an act of
treason trying to repeal the Second Amendment by underhanded means using treaty
law.
I do not see much of the Military going out to confiscate guns. It is
not 2005 in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. It is a different world.
The Military is very awake now to the President’s treasonous ways. It is

Not only did Face the Nation‘s Bob Schieffer rudely interrupt
Senator Ted Cruz, but CBS cut a major part of the interview from airing on
Sunday – one that ‘just happened’ to be critical of President Obama ahead of
his State of the Union address on Tuesday night.
Senator Cruz discussed the IRS’ targeting of the Obama
administration’s political enemies, which NY Senator Chuck Schumer recently
advocated while
imploring the IRS to double down on its efforts.
This is
no less than a call for legalized political suppression; the Democrats would
leave radical groups like Organizing for America, the Open Society Institute,
Tides Foundation, the Center for American Progress, and Media Matters unscathed
while cracking down on their opposition.
Furthermore, anti-Obama filmmaker Dinesh D’Souza was
indicted for what appears to be funnelling $20,000 to a friend for a political
campaign. This would be illegal activity, but the
$500,000 bond for the
act appears to be highly disproportional to the gravity of the infraction,
which raises questions of political motivation.
Senator
Ted Cruz is right for alerting Americans that the Obama administration cannot
be trusted with powerful agencies like the conservative-targeting IRS, the
highly politicized Department of Justice, and the illegally snooping NSA.
But
when confronted with a Senator who is informing the public, CBS News believes
it best that we all remain ignorant and ready to gush over yet another
“uplifting” Obama speech, one filled with false promises and empty platitudes,
that we’ve all seen numerous times before.

Cuba, enero, www.cubanet.org -Una prueba del desinterés
del gobierno cubano hacia su pueblo lo constituye el barrio
La Timba, en El Vedado, muy cerca a la Plaza de la Revolución,
centro del poder comunista. La Timba sufre una terrible marginalidad,
incluso por encima de otros barrios de La Habana.
Las ventajas
que debiera suponer para una comunidad colindar con el Consejo de Estado y con
la avenida Paseo, -vía expedita para el traslado de los jefes de la revolución-,
no existen para La Timba. Irónicamente, la pobreza que encierra en
sus entrañas es tapiada con planchas de zinc durante las realizaciones de
actos conmemorativos y desfiles, a fin de esconderlos de las cámaras.
Los vecinos
de allí se quejan de que nada se ha hecho en favor de esta comunidad. Al
contrario, varios centros que en el pasado desempeñaban funciones sociales
importantes, han sido escindidos al convertirlos en albergues para
damnificados, pero no para los propios residentes del barrio, donde
muchas casas se caen a pedazos por la falta de materiales y recursos.
Ahí están,
convertidos en refugios, la otrora posada (casa de citas) de las calles 2 y
31, y la Casa de la Cultura de 37 y Paseo, donde viven hoy más de
treinta familias que desde hace años esperan por un hogar. La posada, desde
hace tiempo dejó de ser una alternativa para las necesidades sexuales de
parejas sin hogar, y el otro lugar, entre otras cosas, vio truncas las clases
de danza, ensayo de comparsas, y juegos de mesa (dominó) para personas de la
tercera edad. Ni qué decir del proyecto socio-cultural contra el alcoholismo
que allí tuvo lugar en su día.
Un nativo
del barrio que vive desde hace mucho tiempo en uno de estos albergues, porque
su casa se derrumbó, y que prefirió el anonimato para este reportaje,
dijo:
-Más
allá de promesas que terminaron en alguna pintura para enmascarar, jamás las
autoridades de este Municipio se han preocupado en lo más mínimo por el
deterioro de este barrio y mucho menos por la prosperidad de la gente. Mis
abuelos y mis padres vivieron aquí antes de 1959; eran trabajadores, no ricos,
pero no vivieron un infortunio tan grande como el que padecemos ahora.
En los
últimos años, en este barrio se han incrementado las construcciones de
solares, utilizando los más increíbles materiales que la pobreza obliga, sin
que las autoridades brinden algún apoyo. Solo los militares han sido
beneficiados con la construcción de, al menos, dos edificios en esta zona:
Uno en la esquina de 6 y 39, cercano al Consejo de Estado,
compuesto por 32 apartamentos, pero solo doce asignados a
pobladores de La timba, a los que se les había derrumbado el solar. Los
otros veinte, cedidos a oficiales de la policía.
La otra
edificación de cinco plantas fue construida en la esquina de 35 y 4,
entregada íntegramente a militares de la Dirección de
Cárceles y Prisiones del Ministerio del Interior.
Si algún
barrio de la capital cubana tiene razones suficientes para no agradecer nada al
poder revolucionario, es La Timba. 55 años después de aquella “nacionalización”
que se apoderó de todas las bellas edificaciones que rodean el centro de poder
de Cuba, La Timba se erige hoy como testigo de la infertilidad del
régimen comunista, que nunca ha mirado hacia allí a pesar de tenerlo tan cerca.

De las 45 personas que iban en el avión, 12
murieron en el accidente (entre ellas la madre de Fernando Parrado); 5 murieron
al otro día, y a los 8 días muere Susana Parrado (hermana de Fernando)debido a
sus lesiones.
A los 16 días, una avalancha se llevó la vida de ocho más, y dos jóvenes murieron a mediados de Noviembre por las infecciones de sus lesiones.
Los demás, completaron 72 días en la montaña, hasta que fueron rescatados.
¿Qué conferencista logra hoy colmar un auditorio de 2,500 ejecutivos y empresarios, muchos con sus mujeres e hijos, y hablar durante una hora y media sin que nadie pierda detalle del tema ?
Fernando Parrado, uno de los 16 sobrevivientes de la tragedia de los Andes, a 36 años de aquella historia que asombró al mundo, consiguió hace algunos meses más que eso: Conmover a un foro de negocios y capacitación empresarial al transmitir las simples moralejas que le dejaron vivir 72 días en plena Cordillera sin agua ni comida.
Esta es la conferencia que dio:
Su presentación, un monólogo sin golpes bajos acompañado por vídeos e imágenes de la montaña, tuvo dos etapas bien diferentes.
En la primera narró, con un relato íntimo repleto de anécdotas, los momentos que lo marcaron de aquella odisea a 4000 metros de altura en la que perdió a buena parte de sus amigos, además de su madre y su hermana.
'¿Cómo es posible sobrevivir donde no se sobrevive?',
se preguntó.
'Sobrevivimos porque hubo liderazgos, toma de decisiones y espíritu de equipo, porque nos conocíamos desde mucho antes', dijo.
Y arrojó un primer disparador.
"En la vida el factor suerte es fundamental"
Cuando llegué al aeropuerto de Montevideo no daban número de asiento para el avión.
A mí me tocó, de casualidad, la fila 9, junto a mi mejor amigo.
Cuando el avión chocó en la montaña, se partió en dos.
De la fila 9 para atrás no quedó nada.
Los 29 sobrevivientes al primer impacto viajaban en la parte que quedó a salvo.' De ellos, dijo, 24 no sufrieron un rasguño.
Así, los menos golpeados empezaron a ayudar, actuando como un verdadero equipo. Administramos barritas de chocolate y maní al punto de comer un grano por horas cada uno.
Marcelo, nuestro capitán y líder, asumió su rol para contenernos cuando le preguntábamos qué pasaba porque no llegaba el rescate.
Decidimos aguantar.' Pero días después el líder se desmoronó.
La radio trajo la noticia de que había concluido el rescate.
'¿Cómo hubieran reaccionado ustedes?
El líder se quiebra, se deprime y deja de serlo.
Imagínense que yo cierro esta sala, bajo la temperatura a -14 grados sin agua ni comida a esperar quién muere primero.'
se hace un Silencio estremecedor de la primera a la última fila.
'Ahí me di cuenta de que al universo no le importa qué nos pasa.
Mañana saldrá el sol y se pondrá como siempre.
Por lo tanto, tuvimos que tomar decisiones.
En la noche 12 o 13 nos dijimos con uno de los chicos:
«¿Qué estás pensando?»
«Lo mismo que vos. Tenemos que comer, y las proteínas están en los cuerpos.» Hicimos un pacto entre nosotros, era la única opción.
Nos enfrentamos a una verdad cruda e inhumana.'
Desde la primera fila, decenas de chicos llevados por sus padres escuchaban boquiabiertos.
Parrado apeló a conceptos típicos del mundo empresarial.
'Hubo planificación, estrategia, desarrollo.
Cada uno empezó a hacer algo útil, que nos ayudara a seguir vivos: zapatos, bastones, pequeñas expediciones humanas.
Fuimos conociendo nuestra prisión de hielo.'
'Hasta que me eligieron para la expedición final, porque la montaña nos estaba matando, nos debilitaba, se nos acababa la comida.
Subí aterrado a la cima de la montaña con Roberto Canessa.
Pensábamos ver desde allí los valles verdes de Chile y nos encontramos con nieve y montañas a 360 grados.
Ahí decidí que moriría caminando hacia algún lugar.'
Entonces sobrevino el momento más inesperado.
Pero.... "Esta no es la historia que vine a contar",avisó.
Y contó que su verdadera historia empezó al regresar a su casa, sin su madre ni su hermana, sin sus amigos de la infancia y con su padre con una nueva pareja.
'¿Crisis? ¿De qué crisis me hablan?
¿Estrés? ¿Qué estrés?
Estrés es estar muerto a 4000 metros de altura sin agua ni comida', enfatizó.
Hay que pasar por una cosa así para darse cuenta de la diferencia entre lo importante y lo que no lo es.
En general, me siento distinto en la percepción de los problemas del día a día: la gente se complica, yo me volví bastante simple
Recordó un diálogo fundamental que tuvo con su padre, que le dijo:
'Mira para adelante para adelante, anda tras esa chica que te gusta, ten una vida, trabaja.Yo cometí el error de no decirle a tu madre
tantas cosas por estar tan ocupado, de no compartir tantas festividades con tu hermana, no darme el tiempo de platicarcon ellas mis
vivencias, no decirles cuanto las amaba'.
Y cerró, determinado:
'Las empresas son importantes, el trabajo lo es, pero lo verdaderamente valioso está en casa después de trabajar: la familia.
Mi vida cambio, pero lo más valioso que perdí fue ese hogar que ya no existía al regresar.
No se olviden de quien tienen al lado, porque no saben lo que va a pasar mañana.
Una interminable ovación lo despidió de pie ......
